These harnesses allow you to plug your new speakers into the factory connectors present in your vehicle's speaker openings. Note: Some aftermarket speakers have terminals that are wider than this harness's slide-on connectors. You may need to widen the harness's female slide-on connectors, or use the slide terminals that may be included with the speakers. Review: (2) Pair of Metra 72-6514 Speaker Wire Adapters. - I used these adapters on a 2017 Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab. My truck does not have an Alpine system but it does have the 8.4 Screen with the 6 speakers. I used these adapters to install 2 sets of rockford fosgate speakers. The adapter side that connects to the radio speaker fits on like a glove. The other side with the individual connectors were a little on the tight side but once they were cohersed into place everything worked perfectly. As I used them on my type of setting, I would definitely recommend the adapters, they make the installation a lot faster, cleaner looking, and remove all guess work in the installation. Review: Awesome - It beats all the splicing and wiring just straight simple connections thanks ## Features - Easy Installation: Say goodbye to the hassle of cutting into original wires.
