Franciscans will especially love this
It has been some time since I ordered mine - but just wanted to let you know that it is beautiful. It is a substantial piece of sterling and has never tarnished. It is the Tau that I received 32 years ago when I was admitted to the Franciscan Order - then known as the Third Order of St. Francis. Back then, the scapular was not sterling silver - but this one is a beautiful replacement. I hope that the seller continues to get this since many people comment on it. Mostly we wear the large T (tau) that is our 'habit' but I like to wear this one also. You won't be disappointed. For those who purchase this not knowing what it signifies - it is St. Francis of Assisi's arm laying across the Cross - and Jesus' arm is over the top of Francis' arm - Francis' arm is the one with the sleeve.
