Superb and excellent replacement for...any RV toilet...
Ordered this yesterday and it arrived this afternoon. All I can say is, "WOW", this is a great toilet! It took me all of 10-15 minutes to install...remove the CHEAP 5 lb plastic THETFORD in our Catalina Legacy RV and replaced with this. This was wonderful upgrade all around, the Thetford was like 13.5", squat round bowl, and I gotta agree with Rick (below), you won't be 'dunkin' your junk' in the 320's elongated bowl. My wife didn't like the cheap OEM toilet as it was just too flimsy and noisy....but the 320 with it's standard lid (didn't come with a slow close lid, however) is sturdy and overall it just 'feels' much better. This is THE best upgrade you can do. to even a NEW RV (ours is a 2022 and we used it last year a few times), esp if your toilet is a CHEAP Thetford. Two THUMBS up. 5 stars!

A massive upgrade from the standard RV toilet. Seriously- MASSIVE!
At first I was put off by the cost of this toilet. Compared to the Thetford model standard in our RV, it's about 5x the price. After thinking about it for a while, I placed the order. This toilet features a real wood seat, ceramic bowl for easy cleaning, and the bowl is elongated. If you don't know the value of an elongated toilet bowl, well, just think of the men in your life and they'll thank you. If you're a man, you already know. This toilet was purchased for an outdoor, 4 season bath house. Before I got it installed, the Thetford flush valve started leaking in the RV so we popped it out and dropped in the Dometic. Wow- super easy and so much nicer. And lower, which I like. Even though I'm tall. Better pooping posture etc. This toilet is quieter, more comfortable, sturdy etc. Should have done this sooner. Ordered the second one for the bath house and it's awesome too.

The PERFECT RV Toilet!
The Dometic 320 is an awesome upgrade over the traditional RV toilet! The elongated and deeper china bowl is much more comfortable, with the benefit of being able to upgrade the seat if a standard seat isn't your style. The higher (18") bowl height is much more comfortable than the standard height toilet. As a full time , this toilet rates as one my Top Ten improvements for any RV or camp trailer! The lipped bowl is a tremendous improvement, as is the full-bowl swirling flush incorporated into this design. The result of this design is 100% coverage, improved cleaning action within the flush itself. The lipped bowl just makes sense, with the same traditional design as good residential toilets. The added benefit of the included spray faucet cannot be understated. Although it is only pressurized when using the flushing pedal, the benefit of being able to spot-clean as needed is more efficient and less messy than using a toilet brush most of the time! The sprayer comes with a mount, to attach it to the wall near the toilet. My installation required a modification to the 1/2" PEX water supply line, due to the difference in connection points. I had to use two 90° fittings for the offset. I used one Watts P-620 Quick Connect Elbow (90° fitting), and one Watts P-635 Quick Connect Female Swivel Elbow (90° with the 1/2" FPT connector) for connection to the toilet. I also added a SeaTech 3539-10 Stop valve (1/2" shut-off valve) at floor level below both fittings to avoid the necessity of shutting off the water supply if I ever need to disconnect the water supply again. I always use 'plastic, rather than metal, fittings to avoid a cold-trap that freezes up more readily than plastic connectors. With the proper connectors and tools on hand, installation took about 30 minutes including re-fitting the water supply line. A hacksaw, knife (to smooth the PEX ends after trimming to fit), adjustable wrench, and a #2 Phillips-head screwdriver were the tools I used for this installation. Also handy to have on hand are cleaning supplies to clean the floor prior to new installation, a towel to soak up any water dripping from the supply line, and a large garbage bag for enclosing the removed toilet.SHIPPING NOTE: Like another reviewer, my first UPS-shipped item arrived broken. Amazon immediately shipped a replacement item overnight, and provided me with a return UPS shipping label free of charge. This is a packaging issue that could be resolved by the manufacturer, as the ceramic bowl isn't adequately protected at the bottom of the box. Kudos to Amazon.com for providing excellent customer service!!!

Needs Improvement
I have purchased this toilet twice for my bus conversion. I like the elongated ceramic bowl, the, the size, and the seat. So far I have had no issues with the water valve either. It is a decent toilet from that perspective. Despite the good I should give it zero stars, but RV products in general have lowered my expectations of quality. My first toilet had a similar issue to what others have reported. The pedestal is held to the bowl with 4 machine screws. The screws thread into nylon inserts that are in holes in the bottom of the bowl. On my first one, at least one of the nylon inserts failed. It wasn't completely loose but the toilet started creaking when used. What I didnt realize is that it compromised the seal between the pedestal and bowl allowing sewage to leak into the pedestal. The sewage collected there until it started leaking onto the floor. At first I just noticed the smell, but I run my exhaust fans almost constantly so it wasn't very noticeable. Once I noticed it, I pulled the toilet to find the subfloor soaked with sewage. It was then I realized the pedestal was full as well as I spilled it all over myself when removing the toilet. In my opinion it is a poor design and from what I have seen dometic doesn't care to fix it. The seal design between the bowl and pedestal is insufficient and is prone to fail over time. I have seen others note as well that the inserts are not offered by Dometic, and they are prone to break if the pedestal and bowl are disassembled. I bought the toilet a second time because it doesn't seem like there are many good reviews on competitive toilets in this price range. With my second toilet I immediately violated the warranty and disassembled it. I added generous amounts of silicone to the seal between the bowl and pedestal and replaced the nylon inserts with a form of steel anchor. I don't recommend that anyone do this as it is difficult to reassemble correctly so that it still holds water and does not leak sewage. So far it is holding up. When it fails I will not buy this toilet again. I wouldnt recommend it to others.
