I got these more specialized cotton swabs on the recommendation of a hobby forum for model kit building, and I'm so glad I followed their advice. I had been using regular q-tips to wipe away extra ink and paint after filling in crevices on my models, but they would often quickly fall apart due to the need for a bit of scrubbing and the fact that they're mostly just fluff. These cotton swabs have a lot less cotton on them, which ironically means I can use them way longer for the same task, as the structure of the cotton doesn't fall apart at a little pressure with the stem directly underneath a much thinner layer of cotton. I'm very happy with my purchase.

i like that they are very easy to use, good to remove nail polish on the corner of the nail, and shaping eyebrows when doing make up

these are great and plenty; however they are VERY thin and pointed. if you plan to use them in your ear like we did, be aware of their very thin pointed tips and use them with utmost care in your ears. other uses like make up am sure they will be just fine with no worries.

I bought these because I wanted something that I could dip into my nail polish remover and clean the nail polish around my nails but these didn't absorb any polish remover. There is hardly any cotton on the tips. Now for cleaning dust from something that had a small crevice, they would do fine but if you plan on trying to absorb any kind of fluid for clean up or whatever, these aren't going to do that. They are very sturdy though. They just need more cotton on the tips.

does the job good length, the sticks are a little delicate cause they are made from wood not plastic good thing wood recommend

I bought these for my brother because he gets tonsil stones. He said they work great for removing the stones. The stick is very sturdy so they’re also great for cleaning in tight spaces or cleaning inside reusable straws.
