My grammatical skills feel superior! Buy this book!
I loved this book! I thought I had written a review for it already, but Amazon reminded me that I did not. It is definitely worth every penny to read the hilariously incorrect ways that humans can destroy a sentence and crush grammar lol. From advertisements to store signs, errors in books and pamphlets, newspapers and magazines—the author (an editor herself), has collected all of these egregious yet hilarious mistakes and typos for decades. I’m so glad that Lovett has put them all together in a book. She has put the sections together beautifully and frequently includes witty commentary and original illustrations. You can start reading this book, put it down, pick it up again later, and always find an entertaining gaffe. Worth the read! 100% recommend this book.

Entertaining
This is a light-hearted look at the glaring language mishaps we see in everyday life. There are so many typos and bloopers to choose from. I don't know how Sue narrowed the collection down to this many pages--the book could have been a lot bigger! (Maybe there's a second one on the way?) Fun to peruse, and some times groan-worthy, this makes a great gift for anyone who appreciates the humor in language goofs.

Great! Really Funny!
Enjoy the absurdities of the English language at the hands of the daily newspaper! Sue and Ari bring the accidents of typos to life. They make it easy to see what the world would look like and sound like if the typos were true, and it would look very funny indeed. Great short laughs for everyday perusing.

Entertaining Bloopers!
My husband and I read this entertaining book about errors that slipped past editors and proofreaders. Makes one wonder who's doing the editing for today's newspapers and other reading material. Some usage of wrong words makes you laugh out loud! We enjoyed this humorous book.

Not at all worth the price paid. Gave the book 1 star, because I could not give just 1/2 a star.
I like good humor, and I have a well-developed sense of humor. I think that this author is quite overrated. The examples given in her book are very weak and not funny at all. Her use of puns is anemic at best, and her puns are woefully inadequate. I really believe that I have wasted my money on this purchase. In the future, I will need to be very careful not to repeat such a "washout" experience.

You will be muttering "You have to be kidding me"
Very funny light read that will have you thinking "I can't believe they printed this." What were they thinking? Was anybody thinking? A great reminder that language matters.
