I ordered the following Amy's Low Salt Products: Lentil Soup, Pea Soup, Minestrone Soup, and Medium Chili. All of them are great. If you are just now switching to Low salt or no salt you may find them to be bland until your body adjusts to the lowered salt intake (that could take months or up to a year). The biggest complaint most have is the dented cans. My Minestrone and Chili came in without any dents, the Pea Soup had 2 dented cans and the Lentils had dents in every can. These dents are not caused by shipping. All of my shipments came in with the packages totally intact with no signs that the outer shipping box had been roughed up in shipment. These dents are caused by Amazon or Amy's warehousing. The cans are not in boxes, they are shrink wrapped so when stacked the cans are actually bearing the weight. Too much weight and the cans begin to buckle and this buckling will look like dents. You can also get this same effect if the warehousemen are slamming the 12 pack cans down hard on top of each other. This happens when workers in the warehouse get tired and become careless, are untrained, or just plain don't care about their job. If you want to feel better then stay on a low salt diet, if you have ankle swelling then get on a low salt diet and get checked for congestive heart failure. If you have high blood pressure get on a low salt diet and then increase your intake of magnesium. Backing off your salt is not easy as it begins to change the way you taste food but if you stay with it and get off the high salt diet you will begin to taste food and not just the salt. Have you ever eaten at a restaurant where the cook's salt intake is so high that the cook can't tell if he has too much salt in the food he is preparing? I have more than once and it just destroys the meal. Instead of buying 12 cans now try the Amy's Low Salt by getting it at your local health food store one can at a time then if you like order from Amazon and save. I think Amy’s products are very good in general. But I would prefer less salt. I can always add more if needed. But being on a low salt diet, these products use a lot of my quota.

In a world where canned chili is usually filled with fat, salt, and preservatives, Amy's chili is a welcome relief to those of us who are trying to eat healthier. Chili is a favorite in our family but I can't seem to make it very well for some reason. It's just not my forté. However, other commercially-made chilis are so very high in sodium and fat that we just had to go without chili for a while. When we tried this, we weren't sure what to expect.The results were delicious! It's just the right amount of spicy, you don't miss the salt, and it's bursting with flavor. This chili is even good straight-out-of-the-can so if you live in a hurricane area, this is a must for your hurricane kit. I highly recommend this for chili-lovers who are trying to have a healthier diet.

I've had worse and I've had better. I bought this because it was recommended on some different web site and I bought it primarily because I wants a Low Sodium option. It's not bad but I have to doctor it up a bit. I am not a spicy food person but I like chili to taste like chili. I usually end up adding additional dark chili powder and some paprika and then some grated cheese cause I always add grated cheese lolSo average tasting chili but I like the low sodiumI also like the fact that the cans are pull-top, so you can open them anywhere, specially nice if you want to take them camping. No need for a can opener.On complaint: about a third of the cans in the case that I received were dented significantly. I don't know how you can dent up so many cans in a plastic wrapped case and dent them up so significantly. I've read other reviews and questions where people have gotten dented cans. This must be very poor handling at some point in the process. I have never experienced this with any other types of can goods I have had shipped to me, so I doubt it's my local shippers doing this.Not sure if I will order this product again but if I do and any of the cans are dented, I certainly won't be ordering this product a third time.

Vegan. Organic. Kosher. Not overly spicy for chili, but still some bite. Comparable to medium hot salsa. Lower sodium means more prominent bean flavor. Fantastic over rice or with tortilla chips. Wonderful vegan taco filling. If you like spicy try Amy's Light in Sodium Organic Spicy Chili, 14.7-Ounce Can (Pack of 12). Six star company. Another vegan wonder from Amy's kitchen! Some reviews complained of no meat but I was aware that Amy’s only makes vegetarian food. I have had homemade vegetarian chili that was delicious. This is watery and lacking in flavor. I’m very disappointed and would recommend, like other reviews, that you find a single can of this to try from a grocery store before spending a lot of money on a case of mediocre mush.

Want a replacement for the item. Caught in loop saying it’s not a returnable item. I bought the (6) pack for $37.I give this product a 5 star rating for flavor, nutritious protein, low sodium canned food.I ordered this product today because I want it but Hate that I am paying for it. I should get a replacement.
