Clear the residue with warm wet cloth before it dries.
I have arthritic hands so this was a dream to use. As long as the residue is removed fairly quickly with a warm wet cloth it’s a doddle. The result was amazing. My bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling!

It's either seconds or fake
As usual can see the packing is even faulty! The product inside is like water! I have used loads of different whiteners and nothing was like this.Tried to use it and the sponge applicator came off and contents all over my bathroom floor!I ended up using gorgrilla glue to stick the sponge back on just to see if it did work. What a waste of time

Excellent product with awkward applicator
This works well but I wouldn’t call it a reviver. It doesn’t revive the existing grout, it puts a coating on it. The coating looks great. How long it will last, I can’t yet say, of course. The coating does mean the product is unsuitable if the old grout is flush with the tile surface (which would be unusual). The applicator is strange. It’s a foam pad, about the size of the pads you get on those shoe shine things. That means it leaves a lot of material on the tiles, either side of the grout line. The instructions say “allow to dry and remove excess reviver”. I’d strongly recommend ignoring that and removing as much excess as possible while it’s still wet – not easy, because you don’t want to touch the material in the grout line. It’s much more difficult to remove when dry, although a nylon scourer will get it off, if it isn’t too thick.I’m impressed with the results, and it isn’t difficult to use. It just isn’t quite as easy as I’d imagined. I really don’t understand why the applicator has to be so wide.

Quick and effective results. Application a bit tricky though
Overall I'm happy with the good results this has achieved. Two applications have managed to cover up some really grim looking discoloured grout, as shown in the photo I uploaded. The white is bright and clean looking. It comes out quite consistently.I have barely used any of the contents so I think this will cover my family bathroom and kitchen. It is a shame about the applicator sponge on the end of it being so large. It needs to be about half the size and square ideally, as a lot of it is wasted and means the user ends up doing more cleaning up after application. Despite being oversized it still comes out consistently and smoothly.Once this has been on for a few months I'll be able to be in a better position to confirm my satisfaction regarding its longevity. Check the date of this review, if there is no update at the top then I have been satisfied enough with it since that date. The further from the date of the review to the date you're reading this the longer I've been happy with it. I hope this helps.

Premium price but not a premium result. Runny and lacks opacity.
I bought a tube of grout reviver about 10 years ago and despite the fact that it's about 4 years past its use-by date, it's still working as well as it ever did. So, suitably impressed by it, I wondered how this Unibond product would compare. For a start, it's well over twice the price of the product I have been using (which you can still buy) and for the same quantity. The application process is identical too. There's a built-in circular applicator sponge which I never use as it's far too large and wastes the product. Fortunately, you can unscrew this part and reveal the traditional squeezy opening hole. I always use cheap sponge scouring pads cut up into strips to apply this stuff as I find them to be far more economical and accurate to use. The reverse scouring side of these pads is also ideal for removing dried-on product from the surface of the tiles. How does this compare with my current stuff? Unfortunately, it doesn't come close. It's too runny for a start and whilst this does ensure good coverage, the opacity of the product is quite inferior and where I can use my current reviver to fill-in and seal hairline cracks in the grouting, this product is too thin for that. So, it's a bit disappointing; more so given the premium price. It requires several coats to provide an acceptable result too, so the end cost is far greater.
