Good quality machine.
Not sure yet. Even though I followed the directions precisely a couple loaves had problems. Their manual says not to open the lid under any conditions but another sources said to check it during rest periods. Once you know that it should look like a wet softball at that stage you can add a tablespoon of flour or water until it’s right. It’s been coming out very well since I learned that trick.

Great recipes. Poorly written
First I want to say, that I have already made several loaves of bread from these recipes and they were fantastic! The book however is very poorly written, like we see from some imported items on Amazon. I provided an example of a recipe that any amateur editor could find errors and confusion with, including 12 slices as an ingredient and a cooking time of 10 minutes (this should be a “prep time”. The cooking time is 3 hours). Not all recipes are written poorly, but many are. I also included the foreword which oddly describes this book as a work of fiction. For $250 I would have gladly edited this book for Mr. Lewis, making it a much superior product.

Expect to make written edits in your own copy of the book
This book is okay because it lacks consistency in terms compared to each recipe. Some recipes say “yeast” but do not specify which kind, some say “instant yeast” while others say “bread machine” yeast. Cooking times are not always correct. Expect to make written edits in your own copy of the book with these adjustments but it’s a good starter book to get into bread making.

An exciting work of fiction! It's worth the dough
When I bought my new Pohl Schmitt bread machine I was excited to try it out and used the little recipe book that came with it, but when I saw this book, I thought I should probably have it too. It's very quirky. The introduction says: "This is a work of fiction. Names, places and incidents are the product of the author's imagination..." (What !?. Dude, it's a cookbook). I have some serious doubts about several recipes and it's not edited very well but to give the author credit, he pretty much says so. One other line that gave me pause was this: "Please consult a licensed professional before attempting any techniques outlined in this book." I have emailed Martha Stewart but she has not replied as of today.

Good to have with the machine
First I noticed the back cover where it stated ' jams, preserves, and chutneys'. Well, don't be misled as there are no recipes for them. They might have edited the booklet and forgot to edit the back cover. Disappointed.Basic white bread recipes are redundant in this book. There are interested recipes and if you plan to use the bread machine a lot this is great. I can't imagine making meatloaf in this machine but that is the only recipe I found that is for something other than bread. Rather silly unless one doesn't have an oven.A bit over priced for a paper back but there are good recipes in here

Use it every week. Very versatile.

Frustrating
This book was written in something other than English and then machine translated. It is very frustrating to find a recipe (no table of contents or index!) and find “ 2Tbl gibberish!!”
