SCANNER DIAGNOSTICS
Reset the errors with my scanner. Unplugged cable(s) to the battery to reset errors also. Errors were generated after acceleration testing to intentionally induce P0171 and a few other codes that were intermittent. After battery reconnected ... the car quite lethargic. After 5-10 minutes ... and ECU at 100% ... running better. This expected and yet the car still difficult to accelerate from a stop ... hence the testing. Took a guess and figured the sensor. Disconnected the battery and installed the sensor. Reconnected the battery and started the engine and drove immediately. This time no 5-10 minutes lag time to get the ECU lined up to 100%. This is when I knew it being the sensor. It is usually suggested the car runs 'rough' after a battery disconnect. This did not happen after the installation. It's been a few weeks since. The car is a 2000 Toyota Echo.

Working great
Mine had o-ring and was easily installed. Like so many sensitive electronic devices if you drop it you can easily damage it. Also you need to check your wiring for damage and fuses. These still use a heating element to check the amount of air entering the engine.
