My husband uses this for cutting his smoked meat. Not sure why you need a samari sword to cut meat but he enjoys it. It was priced well. Maybe should have come with a karate kid bandana so my husband would feel more like an actual samari when he slices a pulled pork. Smoothe cutting knife. Very sharp.

Excellent for reducing cutters fatigue. The 14 inch blade runs through brisket, ribeyes, whole brisket and of course the toughest primal of all the thick skin and fat on a whole new York strip. It would do well on a butt tenderloin aka "Filet Mignon" as long as the primal isn't mucho internal fatto. Then I normally take a 6inch blade and perform the beloved meat surgery. Cleans easy, don't listen to the rare complaints on the wood type handle. I bought this as a back up for the same knife in white pakawood.I gave it a fair test between the Wallops name brand and it was right on the money. I have 30 Butcher knives and I am tough critic on them.If you cut alot of primals then it takes so much less physical energy to power through the meat.And Remember Mickey loves you.And as always......................DT Rated it.

Handle is small for the size of the knife, other then that it is an awesome knife.

Well crafted and slices through a rib eye roast like butter to prep one inch steaks. Glad I found it on Amazon.

I use this to slice into whatever I cooked for my videos. Works perfect and is always getting commented on.

I did not like the rivets in the handle. They were not flush fit with the handle. They poke your hand when you hold the knife.
