Dr. Prepare Camping Shower

Arrived and looked good, took it to Europe and was in need of a shower, filled it with water, only to find the hose pipe was snapped and wouldn’t hold. I managed to duct tape together to get it to work. The pump sucks and the shower only really works if you have the bag above your head and the head low down. Absolute waste of time and money.

I dont normally do reviews on Amazon. I am simply amazed with this product a cheaper alternative to othe portable dog showers. This works a real treat. Packs away lovey into own little bag and has enough power to create a good camping shower.

Wasn't impressed. Seems very shodily put together with little more than glue in vital areas. Due to this you get leaks when it's pressurised which then reduces the water pressure to the point you'd be as well using an IV drip.Contrary to some reviews it did actually heat up the water (after a bit of time in the sun) to the point that it was pretty warm but I can't say much more for the product. I've given it 3 stars purely because it technically does do what is claimed (holds/heats water and releases water through the function of a 'hose') just not anywhere close to the level that is insinuated. All in all you could say the price tag is justified but you could also say buy cheap, buy twice because that's exactly what you'll end up doing.

This product is rubbish. The hose did not seal properly and leaked on first use. The pump tube should be longer so that you can hold it easily in your hand when carrying the shower when full. The pump function itself works well but the seal at the bottom broke after one use and now it’s useless. Cannot recommend.

Item broke on the first use as the pump snapped off and so it couldn’t be inflated. Don’t know if we got a bad one or not but won’t be trying again

Bought this for our dog and it’s great folds away into a carry case. Easy to assemble, put away and use. It holds a good amount of water, enough to wash our doggy for her weekly shower. The foot pump is easy to pump and gives a good amount of pressure, the shower hose is a great length. Great shower, great price.

Bought this to use for my camper van so that I can stay off grid. Initial purchase was a return which had a defect, but the replacement is fine. It's quite compact and eay to fill through the large screw top lid. Being black, it can be filled and left in the sun to heat the water during the day and then use to wash the dirt of the day off. Lightweight and quite robust, it can be used without needing gravity feed, so use in a privacy tent is possible provided there's drainage.

I liked the concept of this and it's portability, but the reality is, its just not very good at all, hardly any pressure regardless how much you pump and after two uses the bag had a tiny split meaning nothing came out of the shower head, the window on the side of the bag is a poor design, that's where it leaked, if they really wanted a water gauge, a clear pipe running on the outside would have been better, I can recommended the hozelock portashower though, which is a similar price and a far superior piece of equipment
