I use to buy Montblanc refills from the boutiques and online auction sites, but found the longevity and quality of the refills fell short of my expectations. Since buying online at Amazon, the refills are great quality, and if I ever had problems (not yet) the return was simple. Highly recommended.

Perfect color and fit

I mistakenly ordered these instead of fine liner refills, but I tried them anyways. Very pricey, I didn't see the extra value, they are smooth...perhaps too smooth for my tastes, like writing on glass...but some people like that effect. I kept them for future use in a Sunderland Machine Works pen.Great refills, pricey, and not for me, but your mileage may vary!

It was exactly what I thought I was going to get.

Worked smoothly out of the box. I tried some generic less expensive ink and it was spotty and intermittent. If you own a Mont Blanc pen, don’t skimp on the ink.

I do wish they had a little more ink in them to go a bit further. On average for my writing style, if writing a lengthy letter, it's going to last me around 10-11 pages college ruled one sided. If Im doing charting for clinical notes, it's hard to tell, as I don't have a measuring method, but they last me long enough to make it worth while. I love my Montblanc pens, and while I also use a few other brands (I still use German Ink), Im usually using Montblanc's primarily as they feel better in my hand. I do have to take off a star for what I think is a bit short on ink fill level for lengthy writing.

I've ignored my nice pens for the last 18 years when I transitioned from a huge company to a small company and opened a remote office of 1. This purchase got my Star Walker RB back in service. I didn't even consider shopping for non-OEM refills.

So far, writing fine.
