Sent me a FAKE hat. The DC emblem was spray painted on a cheap black hat when it should have been embroiled and the hat wasn't even fitted, it was a snap on hat and then the brim wasn't bent it was flat. The hat was completely FAKE.

My review is for the Size: Large/X-Large | Color: BlackI bought this hat for my husband who has been wearing this style hat for 10+ years. (This will be hat #3) This hat was received in good condition. There are no loose threads or seams. The stitching is straight. The hat is true to size and the color is perfect. This hat came with the official DC tags.As a long time DC hat purchaser I can tell you the last hat we purchased didn't have the same color protection as the original hat he wore 10+ years ago. The last one we bought sun bleached more quickly. As we just got this one I don't know if they've improved the quality of their dyes or not since our last purchase. Still, he's only replacing his hat once every 3.5 years, so the quality is worth the price.The only other difference over the years is slight style change. The star on the front of the hat is bigger now. The logo on the back of the hat is also different. We will continue buying this hat until DC discontinues it.

The hat was listed as flexfit to fit L/XL. My hat size is 7 5/8 and this barely squeezed around my head. That would have been okay, as it would likely stretch with time. However, the structure of the hat itself is very small. The crown seems to be constructed for youth fit. It looks really tiny when worn, like wearing a child's hat.

Most places aren't selling Fitted hats anymore. I'm not a huge fan of snapback hats personally so it has been upsetting to say the least. The logo is smaller than the original hat they used to have, but the embroidery is done very well. The brim is slightly curved and shapes nicely on my head. The hat has a smooth feel to it and the fitting is not bad. I got the small, which seems just barely a tad to tight, but I'm hoping it will wear in perfectly. Usually I have an issue with it being to large with a gap on the sides behind the brim. This one looks great.

My boyfriend was excited about this hat, as he's a DC fanatic. He wore it a few times and it changed to a brown color. He's had an Under Armour hat for almost 2 years and it hasn't faded or changed colors at all. So this must be a knockoff.
