Benching Brady (The Perfect Game)

Ah this book. I love how half the story is told by Brady and half by Rylee. A story of second chances, true love and finding forever. You'll need the tissues though!

The first half of this book I found very slow, this book is the second in this series, Brady was a player but the truth was he didn't use to be after very sad loss he never wanted to get close again so not really a player he never lead people on but did return to girls but only casual until he meets rylee. I got a little tired of the I sleep with anyone talk I think it was overplayed and I got bored but the background of Brady was heart breaking so very sad. (I did think it was odd later when I found out about nat, that he would not like the groupies)

Beast or Barracuda...... this bit had me in hystericsThis was one we were all waiting for and Samantha Christy did not disappoint. I knew I was going to love this book and I did.Rylee Kennedy is a physical therapist and she treats injured athletes. Little does she know that 1 particular athlete is about to blow her mind....Brady Taylor has suffered a serious injury and fears he will never be able to pitch again. He is one of the best and if he cannot play again... he will forever be lost.He thought she was to tiny to give him what he needed....She was not going to be strong enough to push him the way he needed to be pushed but boy was he wrong. Feisty and direct is what she was not to mention beautiful!Rylee doesn't want the complications that go along with being involved with men and fights like hell to avoid any feelings toward Brady. She has her reasons but I can’t spoil that for you by telling you.Brady has his own demons and avoids the possibilities of getting to close to a woman. He has only ever loved once in his life and that will forever be lost when he lost them...Rylee is everything he didn’t know he needed....She is his strength, his focus and he is slowly losing the battle when it comes to loving again. Will he open his heart again? Will she be the rock he once lost? Will she be his future?Rylee needs to be sure he can handle her secret. Will it be to hard for him to see through the past hurt? She can’t take the chance unless he is sure and can overcome the pain of the loss he endured.There is so much more I can say but I would be spoiling it for you. So please read this book! It is a MUST read!!!Samantha Christy digs deep! She captures us with her perfect tails of love, passion and sorrow. Samantha teaches me about things in her books too. E.g. places, sports, and so much more. The details are epic! Her books are so well thought through.I love her mind and what she produces! I love that we have a duel P.O.V although Brady was the first part of the book and Rylee the second, I still got to know and feel what the other was thinking. I am used to reading a character a chapter (if that makes sense) and although i enjoy it that way, i still loved reading every bit of the way this story was put together.This book is full of sass, laughter, tears, compassion, love and so much more. As always Samantha has only made us hungry for more. I cannot wait to ready Sawyer ‘s story. I know it is going to be epic!!!I rate this 5 out 5 stars!!! Worth every star!Thank you Samantha for giving us yet again a mouth watering read.

I am a massive Samanatha Christy fan, every time she puts pen to paper it's magical.This story has it all, great story line, hot alpha male, some steamy scenes, angst and a Happy ending.I loved the story told from Brady's point of view but did find Rylee a little whiney when it came to the story being told from her, hence why the 4 stars. (Maybe I'm just a tough critic). That being said I would 100% recommend this book to everyone and all the books Ms Christy writes. Can't wait for the next book in the Perfect Game series.

Wow! What a read. I read this book in one sitting, I knew Brady's story would be emotional but I wasn't expecting how powerful this book would be. I was hooked immediately.Brady used women to deal with his loss, as soon as his injury introduced him to Rylee all bets were off. It took them both time to truly find each other but boy it was worth it.Samantha blew me away, again. I recommend all of this authors books.

Samantha has yet again wrote another fantastic book, 5 stars just does not seem enough. The book is very well written and brings out so many emotions, I found myself laughing and crying the story of Brady and Rylee is beautiful and warming and shows anything/everything can be overcome with the right person in your corner. I have and will continue to recommend Samantha Christy books to everyone and anyone who needs good books in their life to read.

This was truly a heartbreaking story at times but it also showcased the power that love has to heal hurts and to help overcome tragic loss. My heart really went out to Brady whilst reading this book and just seeing him accept Rylee and Stryker into his life was heartwarming. Again, I must commend Samantha Christy's beautiful writing. I am more than looking forward to Sawyer's story next!

There is so much in Brady's past that he needs to face. He needs to see that love can make things a lot easie. Can he see that Rylee could be just the one for that.Great read and isn't all about the game. You get to read about what happens when things don't go as you plan in a game.
