Forget using a stair step, get this board to stretch those calves!
At first I was a little worried about the stability of this slant board because it was a little on the small side. But I worried for nothing. It's very sturdy and gives a great stretch. I have plantar fasciitis for the first time and I think stretching is the key to recovery. And this board is a great to have around to regularly stretch. It's lightweight and a snap to fold up. I have small feet (women's 6.5) so it fits me well, but may not be optimal for someone with a larger foot. I got another more typical wooden slant board which is also very nice, but it doesn't give as good a stretch. I am not sure why but it may be this board has a spot for your heels and its easy to get to the low end of the board. I am just about to order another one for the office!

Works great for my plantar fasciitis! Also great price and I love how light weight it is!
I love this product for a number of reasons. Most importantly it's really helping my plantar fasciitis because I'm getting a great calf stretch I couldn't get on my own. Plantar fasciitis is very painful and if I don't get a good calf stretch multiple times per day it will never go away.I really like the little ledge for my heel because it stops my foot from sliding off the board. Also, because it's light weight it's much more portable than the heavy wooden stretchers, but it's still a very sturdy product. In addition it's much less expensive than the wooden stretchers and even other plastic calf stretchers. As soon as it was delivered and I tried it out I went ahead and bought 2 more to keep them in different rooms in my house.I included a picture of the aqua stretcher, which I keep in my bedroom. It's the brighter and prettier color. But I also wanted to show a picture of the brown stretcher. I have 2 of these, one in my foyer and one in my living room. The reason I like the brown one is it blends well in rooms where I don't want to highlight that I have a calf stretcher, especially in more formal rooms. It looks especially good in rooms that have wooden furniture in them.I keep a pair of slippers on each stretcher because the little ledge that stops my foot from sliding off can hurt a bit at the heel if I stretch with bare feet.Overall this is a great product!!

Great for stretching at home
I've been using the stairs of the wall to stretch multiple times a day to try to relieve plantar fasciitis pain, but I never get as good a stretch as using a wooden wedge at physical therapy. I purchased this slant board in hopes of getting a better stretch at home, and I'm really happy with it. It's sturdy, the angle is plenty high for my purposes, and I like that I can close it and slide it under my end table when I'm done using it.

Very sturdy and adjustable
I use this as a slant board to stand on (while my back is against a wall). It is a wonderful posture exercise. I used to use a foam wedge that had a fixed 20-degree slant. I was ready to increase that angle (and the foam was losing its form). So, I tried this product, which starts at 20-degrees; I have adjusted it to a 30-degree slant (and higher when/if I’m ready). It is also very sturdy and solid. The evaluation asked about “maneuverability,” which is irrelevant for my usage, so I didn’t answer that.

Perfect for runners
This is perfect for my purposes. I don’t have a big foot (size 7, women’s) and am not a heavy person so I can’t attest to how this would work for a larger athlete. But it’s plenty sturdy for my use and folds up flat so that I can store it in my car to take with me when I go on a run. In fact, I prefer this to the larger wooden ones in my gym. So far, the foam on the strip behind the heel area has held up fine though is not necessary if you stretch with your shoes on, as I do. The degrees of slant are calibrated perfectly for me—from a very deep stretch to just a slight one. This is a must for any runner—Achilles and calf stretches are key to preventing injury and device is far superior to using a random curb or step to stretch on.

Great collapsible, portable, adjustable slant board.
I really like this adjustable slant board. It’s great to have the option of a gentle stretch or deep stretch. That’s good, too, if different family members need different levels of stretch. The board is sturdy. The weight limit is 250 pounds. It collapses flat for easy storage. This makes it great for travel, too. I loved the price compared to some other boards.

Sturdy and portable
I absolutely love this slant board. I was looking for a wooden one like I use at physical therapy, but for the price, decided to try this. I’m so glad I did! It is completely sturdy, and I like that it’s light enough that I can move it around the house to stretch my calves throughout the day and multitask. Bc if that, I’m actually glad I purchased this one instead of a more expensive heavier wooden one. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Easy to move & bring along with on trips
I love the fact that this board is super lightweight and compact and I could bring it with me easily if I want to while traveling--or just bringing it from one room to another. It might be a bit small for those with very large feet (I'm a 7.5-8 or ~38 in European sizing) or might not be the right choice for those who weigh quite a bit.

Professional quality!
I read a few different reviews of similar products to strengthen my calves and ankles (I am a senior) and this is really a great buy! Lives up to its reviews and is very sturdy in construction and easy to use for stretching and strengthening! Looking forward to finding some YouTube videos with some instructions as it only comes with a few diagrams. It arrived quickly and in the Amazon box as requested. Very pleased and looking forward to get a lot of use out of it but I doubt I will ever get past the lowest of the four angles but that is good enough for me.
