This Ninja UltraCrush system completely exceeded my expectations. When my old Ninja Master Prep system died, I knew I wanted an upgrade to something that was powerful enough to pulverize ice for cocktails and smoothies, but could also function as a food processor. I found this on sale, and it's done everything I've asked of it. I've used the processor to make salsa and veggie burgers, the blender to make pasta sauce, soup and frozen margaritas, and the smoothie cup to make many, many smoothies. Both the blender and processor are generously sized, big enough to handle almost any recipe. And the blender is POWERFUL. It turns ice to snow and frozen fruit to fluid. It will make your soups smooth and your sauces silky. The smoothie cup is terrific; I fill it up with frozen berries, frozen kale, soymilk and a couple of ice cubes; two minutes later I have a delicious, slushy smoothie. It's so darned convenient; I use it almost daily. I can't speak to sturdiness, as I've only had it for a couple weeks. But I've used it a lot and so far, it's been impressive.

My goodness this blender is so worth it. Easy to clean, the blades are super sharp! I made wine slushies at a party and someone said "You must have a really good blender because there was not one chunk of ice in this slushie" I also love the food processor attachment. I have a food processer, but it is way easier to use this for quick needs.

I've used it a few times since my purchase and it works so much better than my previous blender. Stronger motor, double blades and large container make it a great deal.
