Q: Do these work well in regular sand/beach sand?

Yes they are great in the sandbox at our house

Q: Do the tracks fall off on the bulldozer? Does running it through the sand stop the tracks and/or wheels from moving?

So far my grandkids have only played indoors with the bulldozer. Tracks stay on. Not sure about running through sand.

Q: What kind of sand is this? Kinetic sand? Can I buy more? I've seen other brands but idk which kind to get.

I don’t know what kinetic sand is. I have seen it available for sale but I don’t know brands. I did buy this toy with the sand but the first time the kids played with it they loaded the dump truck and tipped it in the garden onto regular dirt, lovely sturdy toys though.
