We bought 8 of these for work. I liked the idea of the reservoir for the weekends when no one would be there to water on hot, dry days.The problem with these baskets is there's no overflow hole near the top of the reservoir. So, if it rains heavily the water will fill up the reservoir and the plant area as well and could possibly drown your plants if left for a while. There is a drain hole at the bottom which we now normally leave out. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a reservoir but when there's chances of rain, we pull the plugs. :(After this season we are going to drill our own small hole in the side of each basket to avoid this problem in the future.

Love the design. Water level indicator is not always accurate, but works as expected. I just need to wiggle a bit for calibration. I wished to have a little more water capacity.I'd be more comfortable if the hook on top of the chain is more sturdy.

They are very attractive plastic baskets that can't tell they are plastic. I am a little confused on how the water measurement devise works, since it did not come with any instructions. However, I went back on the order site & looked under the instructions. They are smaller than I expected & currently not using them, because the flowers I got from the nursery are way too big to transfer. So, I'll wait until I put summer flowers in them.

I like the color

The media could not be loaded.  We usually have at least 6 potted plants we buy each year to hang on Shepard hooks, and to decorate our porch. This year the basket they were in were pretty cheap, and the heat of the sun warped the edge of the pots where the plastic hooks attached, so several times I’d find one or two on the ground. Also, they use too much peat in the mix so the pots need watered all the time. I loved these pots even before they arrived, and when they arrived I was overjoyed! Yay, a pot that has a water meter so you can add water and not have it just run out on the ground, and you can check when it looks low. They are attractive, sturdy and have actual chains, not plastic hangers. Who could want more? Now I just hope the squirrels won’t find a way to destroy them. These are marvelous!

Pros: I love the wicker look of the basket. The water gauge is nice too.Cons: The inner basket is very shallow so your plants don’t have a lot of growing room. Something big like repotting a Boston fern isn’t going to work. I’m also concerned about how the hook and chain will hold up in our Florida rainy season.I’ve only used the 1 basket so far. Depending on how the first one holds up in the next month or so, I may just throw the inner pot away and use the whole basket for my other plant.

The product came quickly and on time,also seems very sturdy and better looking than the picture on amazon. I would have liked the chain to be a little longer but not a big problem. These hanging self watering baskets more than exceeded my expectations a the price was right to. very good quality.
