12 1/4 L.O.P on a Moss.500 no pad change.
I got it in used condition from Amazon. Was missing mounting bolt. A trip to the hardware store fixed that for a few bucks. No big deal. Feels great. Perfect height with bead. Would need riser for optic or G.R. sight. Setting up for smaller sized friend. Light, small and quick. Perfect.....

Maverick 88
Purchased this for a 20 gauge cruiser, to replace the pistol grip. The size difference since this product is designed for 12 gauge was a gamble but it fits great. It adds a bit more weight but it's a much more ergonomic hold than my other, standard shotguns.

The Pinnacle of Mossberg 500/590 Stock Design... and you can still use the safety.
Do you love your Mossberg 500/590? Do you want to change out the stock-stock for something that looks and feels 100 times better? Maybe you like the idea of putting a pistol grip on your shotgun or maybe you have even done that already and realize that it sucks on a 500/590 because you can't easily actuate the safety with your fire-control hand anymore. This stock is the answer. It has adapter plates for adjustable length of pull included (I'm short and run it without adapters) and it feels great. The grip angle is a nice medium between the control of a pistol grip and the lack of hand-shock comparable to a conventional sporting-style of rifle/shotgun stock. The texture is grippy and looks good without being obnoxious (even though they are little Magpul logos).Magpul makes a single point adapter for the grip or push button qd mount adapters if you want to run those and they're reasonably priced and has a mount for a web sling built in.The Flat Dark Earth coloration looks great.I mounted a 5-shell side-saddle to the stock by pre-drilling and screwing in an old ATI side-saddle that I had laying around. It works amazing.Oh, and the safety is still accessible as the gun is designed. Run and Gun with confidence!Did my review help you or do you have any questions? Please let me know. Came broken but still usable
One of the little pieces that snaps the back cap piece into place was broken off, had to tape it on but overall shouldn’t affect me too much, nothing a lil black electrical/duck tape can’t solve, woulda got the 5 stars if it wasn’t broken but over all this product will do the job

Great Ergonomics
There's a reason Magpul is so popular and it isn't all superficial. They have some of the best thought out tactical accessories on the market and I now know why so many people are buying the SGA products for their shotguns. I have a Mossberg 500 that previously had an ATI pistol grip and com-spec adjustable stock. I really enjoyed the ergonomics on it too. The only thing I disliked was the need to unscrew the stock to get the trigger group out and clean it. When I got a deal on the forend over at Magpul's website so I decided to pick up the stock too. I was worried the Magpul stock would be a downgrade from the pistol grip and adjustable stock. I was wrong. My 18in shotgun is much lighter now. The angled stock grip is actually very easy and comfortable. It totally changes the feel of the firearm. I only use one of the stock butt inserts to have the length of pull right where I need it to be. Tacticool and ergonomically superior. The only con is not getting a free qd loop. You'd think at this price it would come with it. I added a single point loop, a MOE picatinny rail for my Dark Earth Inforce WML and front qd/hook loop along with the stock and forend. It was worth it. I debated just buying a Magpul edition 590A since you can pick one up for 3 or 4 hundred but the investment is worth it.
