THE absolute BEST SUPPORT CAGES! 100% pleased with everything about them, even the $!
I started growing tomatoes last year for the first time in my 65 years and had 4 plants. Having had no experience I had no idea (maybe I should have read the description!) just how large and top-heavy they were going to get. This being said, the inexpensive cages, supports that come with the short stakes, and flimsy plastic circles (which I bought a bunch of) didn't work. The large whiskey barrels I had them in needed to have more 48” straight stakes added in and that didn't help either, nor did the green twist ties. My poor plants still broke, got tangled up, and the whole thing looked a mess! This year I invested a lot of $$$ in 8 tomato plants of 3 varieties, most reaching a height of 5-6 feet and 1 cherry variety approx. 3 1/2 feet. Having looked at literally every ‘foldable’ tomato cage I could find on Amazon, I did buy several different types, brands, but returned them all for various reasons. That is until I found and bought these! The price may seem high, however you get 5 for the price = $25.00 each (when I got them) which is imo quite reasonable, especially considering the superior quality and ease of use!PRO's: Foldable, no assembly required; Heavy gauge metal, won't break from the weight of the plants; bottom stakes get deep into the soil (pots or ground) keeping them from coming out when caring for the plants or from the wind; the openings in between the supports are large enough to reach in to pick your tomatoes, etc. (even if you're a man with large hands!); the 13” size (W/D) square is good for most container planters - not too big or small; the shape can also be changed from a plain square; the box they come in (inside the large outer Amazon box) is tall (the size of the stakes), but narrow in width and depth, making it not difficult to carry where you want them (this being said as a woman); they simply unfold into a square and ready to use; although the color is a dull-looking silver, it's not going to be noticeable when your plants grow and ‘hide’ it - I mention it for anyone who would consider this fact to be an eyesore (like me!).CON's: NONE!I don't think I forgot to mention anything else that would convince you to buy these as opposed to another brand or type of tomato/flower support cage. I just received my order and haven't yet had a chance to get everything planted using the cages. Once I do, I will follow up with an update on this review, including pictures. For now though, I will say that you should definitely BUY, BUY, BUY, before they're sold out for the season!!! This is a 5 * +++++ product people!*** To reiterate, it's also great for ANY type of high-growing plant that needs to be supported and contained, height as well as width - Dahlias for example!

Great Cages
I bought these on the basis of their very positive reviews, and they've definitely lived up to what I read. They're made of thick, sturdy metal. I expect them to last for years. They're super stable. And they're big enough for the biggest plants I'm generally able to grow. Nothing like the cheap wire ones you pick up at the local hardware store and throw out a few months later. These are certainly a bit pricey, but it's an investment. No regrets at all on this end. Now, if only my plants would grow a bit faster so that I can take full advantage of these things...UPDATE, autumn:I just spent a couple of hours outside cleaning up the garden and dismantling most of these cages, and I have to say, they did a great job and held up beautifully over the summer. I used three of them in a row to support 10 cucumber plants (way over-planted; a jungle of cucumbers), and two of them to support two very large and overgrown tomato plants. Absolutely no complaints!I did have to wire one of them down late in the summer due to the insanely big and lopsided tomato plant that I somehow cultivated, but I don't think any cage would have been able to hold that kind of weight. And the top parts didn't bend or deform at all - it just wanted to pop out of the ground on the bottom, on one side. For my other tomato plant, which grew a bit more evenly, I used twine to tie numerous large branches to various points on the cage. Again, the metal did not move at all, even supporting quite a bit of weight there. Will be buying more cages next year for sure. Very, very happy with this product and the abundant harvest it helped me attain this summer.

Great product!
I put in my tomato seedlings this past week. 2 rows of 5 plants. I bought a set of these cages last month. I popped open the box and was delighted to find that you pull one out and it pops open to a strong, tall (at least 5 ft after inserting into the soil), and roomy cage! I put them over the seedlings - first row but i need another set of cages for the second row and they’re unavailable 😭 i regret not buying another set early in the year because I have a feeling they’re going to be a game changer! Worth the price, an investment.I put my big box store circular faux 3-4 foot “tomato cages” out on the peppers. I’m a new grower - second season and love this addition of supports for my tomatoes. I hope this company puts more out soon!

Fantastic product. Worth the money.
These are fantastic. Much much stronger than others you can find online and at garden stores. I expect them to last me many years.Worth the money! Only down side is they don't open flat so you need to put them on your plants when small. You can not open flat and wrap them around a big plant then close, they have to go on from above if that makes sense. But they do fold flat.I like them so much I'm buying more for next year and sent some to my mom

Worth the money!
I waited several years to buy these because I'm so cheap, I should have bought them long ago! These cages are so sturdy and tall. They allowed branches to be spread out, not crowded, air flow through the plant. Now that its the end of the season I simply folded them back up and stored them away for next spring, they take up no space.

Best Tomato/Pepper cages BY FAR
I have been using these tall, square tomato cages for 8 years. Some of them are that old and still going strong. For a the last year or two I could not find them anywhere and purchased all types of substitutes as my garden expanded. Finally they returned to manufacture! Just forget about ordering anything else and spend the money on these. They are so much sturdier. They are stable even when supporting huge, overgrown tomato plants during wind storms, or overladen pepper plants. Just don't bother with the other pretty green or red brands. They start to fall over just from the weight of the tomato or pepper plants.
