amazing little drill
had for a while now. im good at killing tools through overtourquing etc, im not a light user.this thing has survived me.its just done drilling 5x 2.5" holes tbrough a 2" thick mdf panel using a carbide hole saw and i figured that deserved a good review.im not sure if the chuck lock is slowly giving out as its getting a slight slop to it. but it feels like a tourque limiter which is probably adjustable inside and its still holding atm.its actually doing jobs my midsized drill would struggle with, driver settings work really well too. and the battery has been fine, the charger is good and the battery is doing fairly well cycling back up.really a good buy for the price, its also lightweight and well balanced, no rubber peeling off or anything. cant fault it.

Ideal set for small projects
There is a heavy duty corded drill at my parent’s house, but the inertia of finding sockets and dragging huge extension cords was preventing me from starting in on small projects or doing them right: Drilling a pilot hole for a screw, driving a random screw into the falling-down fence, etc.So my primary criterion was AGILITY. That meant a 12V drill without a charger base to find a place for was ideal. I wanted it to come with a carry bag I could throw random accessories into rather than a hard case where there is a slot for everything in the set but nothing else. And it had to be cheap so I didn’t feel guilty about having 2 drills. This set fit that description perfectly. It meets the base requirements of variable speed, reversible, high- and low-speed modes, variable torque. Overall power is adequate, battery life is good so far. The hammer function was a nice extra (which I haven’t yet tried). What clinched this particular configuration for me was the cleaning brushes. Not that I couldn’t buy a separate set of course, but this was so easy and no questions about the bag being large enough to fit them, or the drill being small and light enough to use them. And I have used them, along with other accessories they included.Bottom line is that I am happy with my purchase decision and the product itself. The only negative so far is that the torque control (including switching between screw, drill, and hammer mode) is very stiff in this particular unit, requiring a fair bit of wrist strength to change. Not a problem for me, though I hope it loosens up with further use. I am not sure if every unit is the same, and it is not bad enough to dock a point from my rating.

Good for small jobs
Lots of great stuff in this kit, but the drill itself isn't the highest quality, as the price suggests. It works fine for easy/small projects, but doesn't work very well with harder woods.

god I love tools
I am one of those people who just accumulates specialized tools constantly but I usually thrift or buy used because i’m frugal (lol i’m just super poor actually). This is a GREAT drill for the money. It has myriad useful attachments—most notably the malleable hinged arm that allows you to drill from an angle.I do wish it came with a circular disk attachment that enables you to attach sandpaper, but I can’t imagine those cost much on their own.Packaging is nice, lightweight, and durable. The drill itself is definitely smaller and more accessible for people with small hands, so if you’re a lady, a person with dwarfism, an unsupervised child, a dog who has grown opposable thumbs, gained higher order cognitive skills, and developed a spontaneous desire to engage in home improvement tasks, an inverted gym bro who only skips arm day (congrats on those jacked legs, bruh!), or someone with a prosthetic limb they shrunk in the washing machine and is now like 1/3 of its original size but you’re too stubborn to order a replacement attachment or just love punishing yourself by living with your mistakes—this is the drill for you!happy home improvement project to all you handy homebodies still being socially disty! (you know there’s a vaccine now though, right? you can stop building shelves you don’t need “but might use someday”.. just saying)

Disappointed at the lack of quality
I bought the impact drill version, yet the product came stuck on the screwdriver setting. No matter how hard you try, the knob is completely stuck. I don't need a screwdriver, I need an impact drill. Also, I received the item an hour ago and have only manipulated it a bit, yet the torque numbers are almost completely faded now, as though they had been printed with really low quality ink.I tried to use this drill with my manual coffee grinder (a KINGRINDER K6, especially designed to be used with a drill) and it doesn't have the necessary torque to grind the coffee. Maybe it's because it's stuck on screwdriver mode, who knows. The entire experience of getting this has been utterly disappointing.
