Great range, surprisingly accurate
I thought it might be a little gimicky, but the gun actually holds up really well. The curve shot actually does it's job well and after a few hundred shots you can accurately target around corners, take straight shots, and more besides. Big fan of how it looks, but I wish the stock was longer. Nice magazine capacity, but reloading is a bit of a pain and it does occasionally jam if you try to rapid fire. All around great weapon for all situations though.

Fast ball or Curve ball? I can throw both!!
Pros- it works- tho subtly, unreal $$, peerless build, cool colors, unique design, onboard mag, decent capacity, ambi bolt, hits hard, great gift n pkg, turbo shipping to SF.Cons, no tactical rails!!!, goofy fixed sight, not a fan of bolt prime cuz it polks out, wtf kinda stock!?!?!!?Still a fun, reliable n built like a Benz blaster as Hasbro treats this line with respect & always (almost) delivers the goods with Rival.I bought this for the same price as 3 measly gallons of super unleaded gas this morn here in the Bay Area. Ask me what I’d rather have👍😎🙌

Would buy again
It fires very hard. It curves less to the side compared to down. It only comes with one cocking bolt but can be unscrewed to switch the side it is on.

Solid Fun. Mind the Price.
I'm quite happy with the purchase. Rival blasters are pretty fun for higher-intensity gameplay, and I think the Sideswipe is a solid blaster for that. The curve-shot gimmick is pretty fun, and you can get some mileage out of watching the rounds twist a bit or suddenly spike downward (in theory, you might also be able to tag an opponent hiding behind a wall in a game). Its performance is in line with other Rival blasters. It holds 12 rounds - not as efficient as a Perses, a Nemesis, or even an Artemis, but I think its capacity and performance are reasonable for its price (and for what it is, it's pretty solid - altogether pretty lightweight, and I really like the form factor of the Sideswipe). While its retail price usually hovers around the $25 mark, and you aren't getting a "bad" deal at that price, I'd still have to recommend keeping an eye out for sales. Its price sometimes falls to about $13; I purchased mine over the holidays at about $9.

Propensity to jam
I painted mine for extra cool points. It has a tendency to jam during rapid fire so I wouldn't bet your life on it. I am not sure if this is a design flaw OR I simply put it back together wrong 🤣

None of the ball shooters seem to feed/ load very well and this is no exception.
This thing jams more than a Grateful Dead tribute band.It is pretty neat that it shoots in a curve though…you know….when it ain’t jamming.

Buy yourself one too!
I bought two of these. One for the hubby and one for my son. I regret not buying one more as I get hit with the balls on a regular basis. The curve is pretty cool unless you are on the receiving end of it then it isn’t as fun for you. But the hubby and son are really enjoying it. I would buy extra ammo when you get the guns.

Son loves it
We have a lot of nerf wars around here and this was our sons request for his birthday he loves it and the fact that it shoots around the corners makes him the winner of our nerf wars a lot! Def recommend for any nerf gun lover!
