Great little scope for the money but the stand is very flimsy.

great value. installed easily and does everything i expected. adjustable led brightness is a nice feature and focusing is tricky on rounded objects but very doable.. i like the adjustable stand as well.. all plastic construction but its still very sturdy . Dont forget to take the lens cover off.. Like i did..

It is a camera. It does that function once the hassle of finding a way to use it is clear. The supplied software is junk on Windows 10. The snap photo button and zoom button on the unit itself don't work. The zoom/focus dial on the camera main body is difficult to adjust while in use. The led dimmer dial on the cord is less than I'd expect. It works, but is catchy and isn't very precise. Then there is the stand... Useless. It looks a lot better than the other options, which is why I chose this one to begin with, but it's super tight and impossible to adjust while viewing anything without having to readjust all over again. Even after a little clearencing, modification and lubrication, it is still, well, junk.I did find a cheap app for my android phone that makes using it a little less painful but it's still not easy to use.Not sure if the calibration scale included is useful Or not. Haven't tried it.However, it does the job I need it to do and I can get some good, close up pics if I am patient.I feel like I could have done just as well with the $12 units available.It does work and I can use it but it is lacking in my opinion, hence the 2 star rating.

This item was titled as Manufacturer Refurbished. Guess what, it wasn't refurbished at all. The focus wheel doesn't spin and the USB disconnects from any port by moving the chord ever so slightly. This seller is a fraud and this item is junk.

Not the highest quality but fun to play with. Prefect for taking seeing splinters in my hand, untying small knots, looking at bugs.

It's a lot of microscope for little money. The built-in illumination eliminates the bother of getting illumination in the right place. I'm not a big time microscope user, but even with some experience with a standard scope, I have a lot of fun with this one.

You get what you pay for. This microscope claims to magnify "1000x". I have no way of confirming that. But, I can confirm that the resolution and sharpness are so poor that the magnification is irrelevant. Steer clear of this and get an actual microscope.
