Returned 2 of them, both had same issues.
I previously had a charging case which worked amazing, but it was not built to handle the abuse that this one was built for. I needed to replace it with a case that was just as functional but was more durable. This case seemed to have it all. At first it charged my phone great for the first day. Then on the second day, it would not charge the phone at all anymore. I took the phone out of the case and plugged it right into the wall, so I knew it wasn't the phone. It started to work the next day, and then the day after that it did it again. I sent it back for a replacement because I figured I had a dud. The replacement worked for about 6 days and did the same exact thing. The lights came on like it was going to charge, but it never charged and the lights turned off. Junk. Also, the design is screwy, as the plastic clips that hold the case together kept popping out and getting lost. Luckily they give you a bag full for replacement clips. Obviously the knew that this was a problem for almost everyone, or else they wouldn't have included it in the box. Total design flaw. Maybe others have had and will have better luck than me but this case did not work for me at all. I'll find something else. As always, Amazon customer service was great at handling my issues and the return policy is so easy and great. I don't blame amazon one bit.

Muffles the Sound Very Badly
I have received multiple emails from the seller asking me to "please leave a positive review" about this product. I cannot, because we are extremely disappointed in it. My son used the product for about 4 days, and was frustrated by a number of things, but the primary issue is that the case muffled the sound from the speakers on his phone. He constantly listens to audio books, video blogs, and music on his phone through the main speaker -- usually without earbuds. (Using the earbuds with this case is issue #2 -- it can't be done without the tiny jack, which is included but is yet another small piece to keep track of.) That is why he needs the extra battery life in the first place -- the speaker uses up the battery. But the case muffled the sound so badly that he was repeatedly removing the case to listen and then replacing it when he was on-the-go again. Removing and replacing the case is a nuisance (another issue, #3), as it requires the use of tiny pins which are difficult to manage and easily lost. We suspect he would have lost the pins in a matter of a couple of weeks, and then the charging case would be useless. As it turned out, he lost the case itself at a tournament last weekend -- only 4 days after receiving it -- because he had to remove the case in order to hear audio on his phone. Yes, losing the case is his own fault, but if the case had not muffled the sound from his phone so badly, he would not have had to remove the case to use his phone in his customary way. And then he only would have had to deal with the tiny pins and tiny earphone jack.Does this product provide extra battery? Yes. If that's all you want, and you have no need to remove the case for charging, listening to the speaker, or using your earbuds, you're probably OK. Otherwise, I don't recommend it.

Love it.
I love this case. The only thing is that I have to buy a micro usb cable. It came with one. But it's too short for my daily use. I wish it could still be lighting. But I understand that type of royalties they would've to pay apple for it. Thus making it way expensive. Plus it charges way faster than the "lighting" cable. I used it 24hrs now with one full charge for both the case and my phone. I listened to music via Bluetooth speaker for 2 hrs and I used google maps several times. Brightness at half the whole time. I currently have 64% in my phone and two out of 4 LED lights in the case.

Good case for iTouch (128GB)
The case performs as advertised, but.... I actually have an iPod Touch (128GB). I bought the case in the hopes that it'd fit my device. It mostly does..(1) The iTouch is slightly thinner than an iPhone 5; therefore, there was a little horizontal movement of the device once I had it installed in the case. To remedy, I took a small piece of paper, folded it a couple of times and slipped into the back of iTouch (in between the case and the device.) Now there is no horizontal movement of the device in the case.(2) The only other issue is that the volume buttons don't line up exactly. Since, I usually adjust the volume via the headphones that I'm wearing, this too isn't a big problem. But if you frequently use the buttons, then this might be an issue for you. Specifically, the "volume UP" button doesn't alight perfectly. The "up" button on the case aligns with the "down" button on the iTouch. In conclusion, knowing what I know now, I'd still buy the case again. But for those looking for a cool battery-case to place their iTouch (5th Gen) in, please note the slight issues listed above.

Are you willing to buy one every 3 months?
I will start off by saying that I take care of my things, so the faults are from regular use, and not abuse. The case lasted from about December to about early March. So, when it worked, this product was great. For about 3 months, I could freely use my phone without fear of being stranded without a cell phone. Fast forward to a few months later, and the case has a charging "sweet spot". This means you're forced to CONSTANTLY adjust the cord/plug so that the case recognizes that there's a charger plugged in. It doesn't sound that bad, until you play that game for a week and wake up a few mornings with (ironically) a dead phone AND a dead charging case. When it worked, the case felt durable and was aesthetically pleasing but at the end of the day, its like owning a Lamborghini with a blown out engine. Yeah it looks cool, but it can't perform the one basic function you bought it for. So for now, it collects dust on my computer desk, until I cope with my loss and finally put it in the trash. Also, I did try multiple cables and multiple other power sources.TLDR: Case felt and looked great while it worked. Really cheap parts used for the charging port which gave out after a surprisingly short time period of normal use.
