If It Can Survive a Florida Summer...It Should Be Able to Survive Anything.
I live in S Florida, and the sun here is fierce all year around, and doubly so in the summer. I had a hard time trying to decide what percentage sunblock I should use for my veggies and orchids, and I settled on 50% and then hoped for the best. And as it turns out, 50% is about right for my needs! The shade cloth allows me to grow veggies longer before the sun, heat and humidity take their toll. As for the orchids, I let the ones that prefer more sun closer to the sides, and keep the ones that prefer less sunlight in the shade of the others.I was only really expecting the shade cloth to last maybe just until the middle of September. Was fine at that point, then a few weeks later, I had a hurricane brush by, although I only got about 60 MPH winds at that part of my yard. I didn't have the time to take down the shade cloth, so I didn't expect to see it again in one piece.Surprise! The shade cloth outlasted both the summer and the hurricane. And it's still up in the yard, awaiting my winter garden.Very happy with the quality!

Shade Cloth Rocks!
I am very happy with this shade cloth. So far it has helped keep Cabbage Looper butterflies off my Kale, so I have no caterpillars eating my Kale. I do have one concern with this cloth. I planted a row of spinach seed, and none of it germinated. So, even though this shade cloth still allows 60% of the sun in, it seems to be insufficient to germinate seed. I will try again in July when it is very hot here, and see if seed will germinate, and in August/September when I want to grow my fall/winter crop of cool weather vegetables. I could remove the Shade Cloth Hoop until the plants are near maturity, and then restore the Hoop? It sure is nice to open the hoop on a hot day, and harvest in a cool setting! I'm a little spoiled! Ha Ha! I like having the shade cloth covering my mature plants during the strong winds we get, and strong rain occasionally. The Shade Cloth offers protection to my plants. I will close with this. I had a row of Romaine Lettuce wilting in the hot sun, and I took some scrap 60% Shade Cloth and stapled it to 1"X2" stakes set in the ground at a 45 degree angle over the Romaine, and the plants responded greatly! They are mature now, forming their heads, and we are starting to harvest them. So, I am a fan of Shade Cloth, but if I purchase some more, I will get some rated at 30%.

it's still 100% fine. Will buy another just as a backup in ...
I bought this for a shade over my chicken coop. This thing has impressed! We get heavy winds that throw large backyard umbrellas two blocks down the road. I look outside and watch this sunshade flap over my chicken coop really hard, expecting rips and tears. But after 7 months with multiple wind storms, it's still 100% fine. Will buy another just as a backup in case it does tear someday.

Works perfectly on a wood frame over two raised gardens
Am very happy with this purchase. I bought two of them to provide filtered shade over two raised gardens during hot sunny days (see photo of one of the gardens). i stretched it over a foldable wood frame with no problem and no tears even though the frame has some sharp corners. Bungee connectors work perfectly. I appreciate having the closely-spaced grommeted holes along all four edges.

Easy to install with included hardware
I installed this tarp off the side of my patio to add some shade to my back porch. It was super easy to install, and the hardware included keeps everything in place. It is holding up surprisingly well for the Arizona sun. It survived the first monsoon, and I expect to get at least a year or two out of it.

Better Than Expected
I was very impressed with this product for the money. The edges are heavily reinforced. The grommets are large and heavy duty. It even comes with the bungees which was not clear in the description. Very please and satisfied.

Nice Fabric but...
Got this to provide some shade for my garden. the issue with what I received is that the grommets were not even on the two long sides...one side had one more than another.

This was perfect for sun shade without blocking the light
This was perfect for sun shade without blocking the light. Very easy to put together and so lite weight that in the wind has a gentle ripple.
