Totally CoversCompatible with 2001-2005 Mazda MX-5 Miata Seat Covers: Black and Tan (22 Colors) Bucket

These covers look great in my 2001 Miata SE. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the black accents with the British Racing Green exterior of the car, but since the black matches the dash and some of the interior accents, it works quite well.These are easy to install. There are 4 14mm bolts holding each seat down. The seats weigh around 30lbs each, so they lift up easily after removing the bolts. On the driver's side, the electrical connection for the seat belt indicator is removed by squeezing the tab on the female connector, and pulling gently.Take the seats inside, or somewhere comfortable, and follow the included directions to slide on the covers. The fasteners are well-made. I used a pair of pliers to squeeze the hooks a little, to close the gap and ensure they were secure. It took some thought to determine how best to attach the hooks, to make sure the straps were tight (the instructions are solid, but a bit generic). I'm happy with the results, and they have not come loose after several rides.

They are what they are: inexpensive seat covers. They look good. The color is close to the cabin color. They fit OK. The one major problem is putting them on. There is no clearance under Miata seats, so you can't get your hand underneath to hook all those little hooks. It is impossible without removing the seats. Fortunately, removing the seats is fairly easy (4 bolts each seat). Then putting on the seat covers is easy. The seats are also easy to re-install. So, I recommend these seat covers, but keep in mind that you will need to remove the seats.Note: I ordered the wrong color first, and the return/exchange was very nice. The company was great.

Very comfortable material, sturdy and well made covers, and easy to clean. Love them!

Fit is ok but need way to keep the tuck between seat and seat back tight. Nothing to keep the extra fabric in the seam so it bulges out. I’m confident they will do the job.The installation straps are too long to fit the plastic hex connector and I used the seat frame itself to get the front and back straps hooked in.

They look nice. Good material. I was hoping they’d fit a little tighter.

These seats are pretty decent for the price. They fit nicely and were easy to install. I highly recommend removing the seats first and putting them on a work bench or saw horses to fit them correctly. I watched some videos on youtube to see how to remove seats. It was very simple and only required a socket. I do not advise buying these if you cannot remove them or get someone to remove them. You need to have the seat out .I installed them in the late spring and it is fall now. I bought black and it has faded somewhat over that time. They are still a good option for the price.

They're very attractive looking, however easy to install it's not accurate I have come to the conclusion that the only way to install any seat cover that fastens under the seat on a Miata is to take the seats completely out and that's exactly what I was trying to avoid

I was not told that the item was sent before I contacted the seller, about 3 weeks after purchasing the item! But finally, it took 1 month for delivery. The covers fits pretty well but there's a slight play in the seat back. However, it looks great. One of the little elastics broke by pulling a little on it, luckily my father stitched it up but another one broke during installation, disappointing. Honestly, I don't think it worths 150$ CAD (with shipping)
