German Silver version = Decent quality
I am mystified by reviews that say the lid is too loose or that the sticker inside the lid "failed". (Fell out? Got too saturated with moisture?) My lid is quite tight, and it would take a great deal of effort to remove the protective sticker inside the lid.These are made by TDC, a very reputable manufacturer. Buying from this reseller (with Prime's free delivery) ends up costing the same as buying directly from the maker and paying for shipping -- at least in the case of the german silver version. As mentioned, removing a snuff tin after pushing it into the container is a herculean task. Easier to just dump tobacco from a fresh tin into the old one.

Can't Put Tobacco Products in a Snuf Box???
How can you sell a snuff box that has a warning label on the inside that tobacco will cause it to discolor???Last I looked, snuff was tobacco.Maybe this is ok for cocaine??

Husband was not a fan. He says it’s well made and perfect for things, except his tobacco. It molded the lid.

Excellent find.
Read that it could turn my dip green. Haven’t had any trouble at all. And now my cans don’t break in my back pocket when I work under cars or any of the such. Going to buy more.
