TUFF Collar Dog Fence Receiver Heavy Duty Replacement Strap

I have an EXTREMELY active two-year-old dog. He keeps destroying his invisible fence collars. Considering how much those collars and systems cost, it's unfortunate how weak the plastic is on the clasps of the "official" collars. I didn't want to buy a whole new collar system and that's all the local store had. I did a quick search and found these replacement collars. The price was right and came in a variety of colors other than the standard red, so I ordered blue and purple, figuring I better keep a spare around in case he broke another one.They fit perfectly with the fence unit. I really do love that we can switch up the colors. And best of all, the clasps are very sturdy. I have great faith that they will hold up well against my crazy dog.

It fits the Invisible Fence brand transmitter just fine, I'm having a minor problem with the "adjuster" part tending to slip on the collar fabric and leave a long "tail" of the extra collar material hanging out.Update after a couple of months' use: The slippage got worse and worse, to the point that if I got it to the right tightness in the morning it would be too loose by that evening. In order to stop having to fiddle with it I got it set to the right tightness and then stitched the overlapping parts of the straps together. Now that's it's sewn up (and no longer adjustable) it's fine, but not what I had hoped for.

Not great, but not terrible!First off the color is way off. I ordered GREEN. The color is clearly more YELLOW. Photo shows the comparison to our dogs current collar. The plastic clasps don't hold the fabric very tight, so it's very difficult to keep the collar properly adjusted. I will be looking for a better collar for long term.

Heavy duty my butt! The nylon is cheap and flimsy as is the collar buckle. This collar lasted all of three applications/episodes of care on my German Shepherd. The rim of the collar perforations for the receiver is single millimeters away from the edge of the collar. The collar itself is very thin. So thin, that I would not even risk putting a collar of this limited strength on my cat. I bought another, truly heavy duty collar to work with my receiver.

Very happy with it. Seemed like it would not fit at first, due to the stitched fold-over on the end that wouldn't fit through the collar slots. So I just trimmed the end off, and burned the edge, and then it fit perfectly and worked great. I didn't need the 2 holes for the YardMax collar, but I understand that makes it a more universal fit for others. For the price, this is hard to beat. Our dog grew more than I thought she would, so I had over-trimmed the original collar. Now I'm glad i did, because I like this better than the original.

We have 3 dogs and use the PETSAFE underground fence system. The standard collar comes in red only so I was looking for alternate colors to easily identify who's collar is who's. Drake our oldest pup wears the original red, while our Buddy Bear now has blue and our diva Sadie Dakota loves her pink collar. It makes it so much easier to get the proper fitting collar on a wiggling dog before my morning coffee. My husband changed these out for me in just a few minutes. Well worth the money.

We have a PetSafe Wireless Containment System for our Weimaraner, and the standard red collar that comes with the system was too wide for her slender neck and not a great color for her. This thinner purple replacement collar is perfect for her -- and it accepts the two nodes of the wireless receiver perfectly. The heavy duty plastic "click" buckle makes it easy to put on my dog's neck, and I have no fear it will fail.My Weimaraner likes to roll in gross things, like dead mice and moles, and one time she smeared this purple collar with rotten mouse guts and blood. It stank to high heaven. I scrubbed it clean, but it still stunk, so I boiled it for a few minutes. That solved the stink and the bacteria, and the plastic clip buckle was not affected at all.I will be a repeat buyer when necessary, which probably won't be for a long time.

Love it! It's a little thinner than the original collar it works. The pink is so bright and pretty. The shock part fits perfectly in the holes (we have the Pet Safe Wireless pet containment system)

Needed replacement perimeter collars for my dogs, these work well only complaint is the pink colour choice but hey my boys don’t mind!
