Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I've been using battery-operated sonic mole spikes for about 4 years and had the best success over other treatments. I've tried grub killer, castor oil, smoke bombs, and burying sharp objects. I've tried various traps and have never caught a mole. Everything I've tried has been temporary at best, maybe a week or two, and then the moles return. The spikes are the only thing I've had consistent results with, and all I have to do is check it weekly when I mow to make sure the battery isn't dead. I decided to finally give the solar spikes a chance and eliminate the need for batteries.It is true that it takes time to see results, so you have to be patient. If you have existing moles, give it time before giving up. Another thing I would point out is, more is better. I have approx 16,000 sq feet of lawn, and use about 7 to 8 spikes year-round. With these being solar, I don't know how they'll work in the winter time when it's mostly cloudy in the Pacific Northwest, but I'm willing to give these a try because I know mole spikes work.For the review on Thanos brand itself, I actually purchased the Thanos and another brand that looks very similar. The video shows the left spike is Thanos and demonstrates the sound and the size of the two spikes. The photo shows the difference in the solar panels. The one on the left is Thanos. The three main things I prefer about the Thanos is the sound goes a bit longer and is louder, the spike has a sharper point for getting into the dirt and the length is slightly longer as well. My guess is these should last for some time as long as it's well sealed. It's a smaller investment than the time and money I've spent on other products that didn't produce results.

One I stuck into the entrance of a tunnel I found, angled into the clay soil, an hour later it was buried to the hilt, which you’d think would make it more effective but that was the mole telling me to kiss it’s butt. It’s been a week and he’s still making a mess. I have four about 20 feet apart around my backyard and he does not care, clay soil and all.What worked was the victor gopher traps (kills them of course), planted it at the same entrance with the beeping stake next to it and he was dead in an hour.

These don't work at all. I bought the four pack. I live on a 0.20 acre lot. I put one near each corner of my house and found that they don't do anything but make a sound every so often that doesn't do anything to deter rodents af any kind. These are a scam. They do not work at all. Don't waste your money. I really really wanted these to work. I have a mole chewing up my yard and landscaping. I've tried traps, poisons, sonic spikes. Tried it all. Nothing works. Two of the spikes no longer even emit sounds. At first, it seems like they do, but the moles get used to the sound and come back with a vengeance. Save the money and put it towards an exterminator. I know the reviews look promising, but just know, after a couple of weeks of use, you'll be hiring an exterminator.

Signs of moles have been showing up on my property for the past few years. I have been at a loss to solve this problem since I don't like pesticides or trapping. Then I discovered this solution! So very easy!! Arrived quickly, super easy to install, and so far very dependable. I really enjoy the little hum they send off to let me know they are working. And since we have had so much rain lately I know they are waterproof! Begone moles and voles!!! The holes and mounds are no longer there so I think this solution is working well!
