This is not a weighted hula hoop. It is very light so not great for proper exercise. I cannot weigh it because once assembled, you cannot undo it but I would guess about or under 1lb or 500g.The description showed markings where you press to unlock the pieces to disassemble. There are no markings and there is no bump to press to release the pieces because there are no external buttons to press to release. The lock-in buttons are on the inside of the joints so inaccessible once joined. I have been trying to pull it apart and cannot. If I push and pull it any harder I am sure it will break but it certainly will not open without high risk of breaking. To have to do this on each of the parts is insanity.This is 93cm diameter. That is much taller than a dining table and too large to fit in most cupboards. If you need to take it apart when not being used, do not buy this hoop.The core is cheap white plastic and the coating is a foam. The foam on my hoop did not join up everywhere once put together. If I wanted an unweighted, solid hula hoop that you cannot take apart, if I had seen this I might have given you £5. The problem is I wanted a weighted, exercise hoop that you can take apart so I would give you nothing and wish this had not wasted my time.Because it is not weighted and does not come apart for storage, I need to return this but cannot get it back in the box because it does not come apart.This comes in a cardboard box with no manufacturer information at all. No labelling at all.The design is terrible. The components are cheap. Because it is light, the foam should last a while with normal usage but squashes easily (it arrived with some depression marks from the box) and would rip easily with pressure. Even at this price this is not good value. If you are looking for a WEIGHTED hoop, or one you could DISASSEMBLE, this the kind of thing you would not buy if you had seen it first but get suckered into by a bad and misleading description on Amazon with loads of hassle to sort out or return. So frustrating

This came a couple of days earlier than expected which was good. I put it together right away but luckily I'd seen the instructions in the description because none came in the box. It was really easy to assemble though.I enjoyed my first hula hooping session but my second one hurt a little, my muscles aren't used to so much work! I'll give it a day or two rest but I really can't wait to get back into it

I used my friends hoop and it was so uncomfortable to use so I was slightly apprehensive with ordering one at all. But this is much better. Foam padding and don't feel the ridges which makes it more enjoyable to use.However the connectors are plastic, so if you push the button too hard when slotting together it can get stuck, would have been better if they were metal. But it still does the job, and good quality still.

This is a really good hoop. It took me a while to get the hang of it, and my god when I first started using it - the bruising! Too painful to continue BUT... I kept giving it a few days rest and trying again, and again and again, until it didn't hurt anymore. It's a great core workout if you can stick it out. I nearly gave up. Glad I didn't.

It arrived promptly, it’s easy to assemble and good size for adults however , quality wise not great after few uses the sponge that covers it is already breaking Good fun though

I bought this Hoop to start exercising at home. The website does not specify that this is not suitable for beginners as it is too heavy to use. The massage /weave effect on the hoop makes it even harder to use. I would not recommend this product if you are a beginner. It is also not so straightforward to disassemble so I ended up leaving it lying around the house most days. I now returned it for a full refund.

Nice size hoop just make sure you wear a thick top to do it because it can make your abdomen really sore / bruised feeling (this is the same for any weighted hoop) mine seemed to come up with mysterious scratches and tears in the foam part after a few uses. Not sure if this is general wear and tear from use or my cats have got to it. Either way it hasnt affected its use.

As a beginner I found this hoop a little heavy. Still persevering but I struggle to keep it going for more than a few seconds. I advise something lighter for the non athletic.
