The ramp is nice, sturdy, and helpful but I purchased a 3 foot ramp expecting the ramp measurements to match. The ramp section used to provide the incline was less than 3 feet. The 3ft measurement included the hook/lip (hinge?) and adjustable lip (transition plate) and the ramp only provides 2feet and “fell short” of my expectations. I measured the ramp because I was concerned that the wrong ramp was delivered, but the product is correct but could use a better description. Sadly it took me 5 months to figure this out, as I have been struggling to push my loved one up this ramp. I just ordered the 4ft which should hopefully meet our needs. The full measurements of the ramp are fine for storage and transport, but sharing the actual size of the ramp portion of the ramp is what we need. The ramp section of the 3ft ramp was less than 3ft.

Great little ramp. We only need ours when my moms in her wheel chair to get out the front door. So this fold up ramp is great for that. I ordered the 3Ft first, but realized it was too short so had to get the 4Ft. I should note here that I had to pay return shipping though. I was a little disappointed with that, but it was my own mistake ordering the wrong size.It’s sturdy, the sandpaper like grip on top is great, and it works!

This ramp has been a life saver. It is very sturdy, and folds easily. As it is quite sturdy, it does have some left to it; it is not as light as you might think. But that is something I can live with, as the ramp is semi-permanent in the house.The flanges that act as transition from the floor surface to the taboo surface are designed fairly well. But you do have to be sure that you approach the ramp fairly straight-on. Drift in at a slight angle and the front wheels of our manual wheelchair can catch and hinder your ability to get on the ramp. Reverse, and square your approach, and forward to go.Last, the ramp has raised edges that help keep you from drifting off the side as you move up or down the ramp; think of it as a curb. They are very effective and helpful. But the ends of the curbs are cut very squarely and fairly sharply. The square ends could possibly catch a bare foot and would cause some pain if not injury. It would be better if the corners were eased ever so subtly. This gives us more pause when our Toddler is about.

I have a large, 400-some pound, complex rehab power wheelchair. I was nervous about buying a portable ramp online. I moved into a new rancher-style townhouse a few months ago and I was relying on this ramp to get my wheelchair into the house. It's single level with a small step up. My own anxiety was quelled the day of move in! It held up just fine for my 400 lb chair with 200 lb me in it! I use this to get in and out of my place in the powerchair with no issues. The 4 foot length has been fine for my needs. I also live in an area that has a lot of snow and rain. The ramp has held up and is not rusting or anything. The non slip coating on it is really useful and works beautifully, even in the snow or rain. I have never gotten a ramp online before because of the uncertainty. However, I know now that I can trust EZ-Access and I will absolutely use this brand in the future.
