Great Rat sound in a small package
It does what a Rat does and more. Familiar controls with a couple extra switches that bring more to the game. The mini format saves space on your board…another home run from team Wampler!

All you need.....
This has a lot of variety of tones for just a tiny pedal. Analog heaven. With this work of art Wampler has done it again. Will only run on 9 or 18 volt AC adapter as no room for a battery. It was optimized for 9 volts. Very well made in the USA. I use this and the Boss OD-200 individually and can cover anything pretty much. Thank you Mr Wampler!

Cuts thru the mix now
I own a late 80’s RAT w the LM308 chip - which many consider THE RAT tone. I love that pedal but it would get buried in live band settings. I decided to give the Ratsbane a try and boy am I glad I did. It stands out in the mix now!! I have the right toggle set to the right and that made all the difference. Good luck out there all you tone seekers.

The Rat grows up
I never had an ‘original’ Rat and this one does original plus a wide range more. It does the “more” fantastic. There’s something special about Wampler pedals in general. When I click it on I seriously feel like my guitar turns from an instrument into a weapon. It’s like having a second Johnson if yaknowwhaddimean.

Great replacement for Rat
I was using a 1980's big box reissue, lot of issues with it flaking out, this is a solid unit that sounds great.
