What I like: comes with a color chart that names all colors included; comes with 2 brushes, #8 & #12, a9 x 5 block of watercolor paper (nice, sturdy weight) and free e-book course for those who want to learn the beauty of watercolor. Good price point and this palette is weighty, very sturdy. I may purchase another one just to have it!

I tried a different brand of watercolor paint and was disappointed with how it didn't blend. I got these to see if it was me or the paint. It must've been the paint because THIS brand of watercolor paint goes on smooth, has bright, vivid color, and blends very well. So I'm going to be using this paint for the foreseeable future. Especially since the price makes it a good deal!The "free watercolor course" was a bummer, though. I never made it to whatever this supposed course might be. They make you jump through a hundred hoops to get to it, and since I can look up what I might need to know in other ways, I just gave up on that, but I won't take any stars away because my review is for the paint, not the extras. Though the included paper is very nice. I do wish they sold that separately so I could get some more.

I am so glad I treated myself to a gift of these gorgeous watercolors! This set is great because you can mix the colors right in the lid which becomes a tray. It holds a brush or 2. My first attempts have been quite good considering I have not watercolored since I was 6! I bought this set so I could take it in a backpack or travel with ease with a small pad and watercolor in nature.

I like the paint assortment that is given. I wished that the paints were laid out by shade, because most of the darker colors all look the same, and is hard to tell what color it is. I had to make myself a paint swatch to know what paint is in what pan. I like that the colors are vibrant and easily blends. The paint in the pan does crack after getting saturated with water. It comes with a pad of watercolor paper, which is thick and of good quality. It has 2 brushes as well, a thick one and a thin bristle one, they work well, holds a good amount of water in the belly of the brush, an the bristles are soft and pliable. I would buy it again .

I have tried tubes and pan. I have chosen 4 star either great reviews over the last 5 years. I also do acrylic and some craft painting; bottles, jars, pinecones....so I am not a full time watercolorist. I do love love love watercolor though and I am out of state and decided to try and find a new brand of watercolors. This time I Google it and asked about the best brand of watercolors and there were some that I just skimmed by...I didn't want to break the bank either. I have several watercolors to work with but something always seemed to be missing. Do I ordered this set and of course when I got it. I had to sample itBoy, was I surprised. Even though the pans are small, the price was more than reasonable. The case it came in was a heavier plastic that was rather impressiveIt had some individual areas where you could do mixing along with a couple brushes and a small pad of wc paper.Now for the watercolor itself. The colors are intense! I could not believe how much had color that came out of my brush with just 1st using it. I thought to myself, "Now this is what watercolor is all about!!" You don't hBe to work to get bright intense colors..in fact you may have to work a little harder to soften the color to what you wanted to be.I love the fact that if I want a more intense color....I don't have to use up the pans of watercolor or even kind of settle for duller tones with other watercolors tunes included.I will be painting a lot more in watercolor again thanks to this set of of colors

The package arrived on time and it’s beautifully packed. The package comes with 2 brushes, and color guide of all colors in each pan which helps me to easily use which color I want to use for my painting. The colors are pigmented really good. Less need for extra layers. Easy to use at all. The paper is in good quality. Absorbs water and easily dry as well. I love this set. My to go watercolor set. Five stars for this and really worth your money.

I ordered another palette for $35 first with good ratings and it arrived with all paints in one solid piece of flimsy plastic that was cracked. I loved the color of the tin but wanted a good painting experience for learning. I immediately applied for a refund and started looking for a better set and looking closer. This palette showed up in my search que as a sponsored product so I checked it out and I’m glad I did. It was designed in the ISA. The paints are in individual pans and then 6 pans to a set. Therefore, you can set up what colors you want to use for a project remove them from the case and not get all the paints wet. The case is a double molded plastic and feels hefty and durable with spaces in the lid to mix paints. It came with two very nice looking brushes and a pad of watercolor paper so you can start practicing immediately. I would highly recommend this palette at $29!!!

I’m so happy with this set. I’m a beginner and I lucked out buying this set to learn on. Since this purchase I’ve bought other paints and I can see that these are quite good quality, considering such a great deal! The paper is high quality and the paint brushes are perfect too!! Great purchase!

I purchased this palette of watercolour paints with fairly low expectations. It has become one of my favourite sets. It is my go-to set of paints. The colours are vivid, the paint does what I want it to do, it has beautiful blooms and has wonderful coverage.I recommend this product. The price is fabulous and I get lots of comments in my watercolour class about the colours and quality of the pigment.My only complaint is I can't buy single replacement pans.
