Soothes, cools and hydrates skin
I have been using this in the evening each night for a week and a half. Using a small amount mixed with a small amount of water slowly mixed in. I was unsure what consistancy I required and so tried changing it one day to the next. I found thinly applied and a medium density so the water does not run or drain from it as it dries. I have been using it on a skin irritation I have had for a while. It is only an inch squared but seems to be photosensitive and often irritates dries out and itches. Using this natural powdered aloe vera offered instant cooling and soothed the irritation with the itching going away whilst in use. Once washed away my skin was smooth to touch and visibly more hydrated. I don't think the pictures do the improvement justice. The packet is strong and reseals really well to keep the product dry.I give four stars as I feel the product should have better instructions written on the packet which simply tells you to mix it with water and skin test it.The product can be used for facials and for hair also but I can't offer any insight in to these.

Do the skin test!
I chose to try this on my face instead of hair as you have to leave it in your hair for an hour before washing. The instructions are very vague. It would have been nice to have some sort of measurements to go by, but I used roughly 1 heaped tablespoon and very gradually added water to make a paste. This is once I got the bag open- it sounds silly but that is one very effective resealable tab!Unfortunately, it smells really horrible and literally looks like you've smeared poo all over your face it's that brown.Nevertheless I managed the 30 mins...the minimum time it states. The paste dries out like any other face mask and takes a bit of work to remove.I was mortified at this point as my face had gone completely red and got worse and worse. This is most certainly not an Aloe Vera mask...not without extra ingredients added. There is no ingredients list, just says "100% organic Aloe Vera Powder". I have an Aloe Vera plant which I've used for burns before so I know for a fact I'm not allergic to pure Aloe Vera.I can't fault that it made my skin soft...but I will certainly not be trying it on my hair.

Works so well with itchy scalp
Had really dry itchy scalp after giving birth. This really helped soothe it. Shampooing nor applying more oil helped as it was because of all these new hormones. I didn’t have a dry nor oily/ greasy scalp or any dandruff. This is why I think this aloe vera powder was so great. It provides moisture and soothes the skin without drying anything out nor leaving an oily residue. Was just what I needed!

Aloe Vera..
Natural as you can get, great for flared psoriasis...Aloe Vera is rich in vitamin A, F, C and B which increases collagen and skin elasticity. It also adds moisture to dry, broken skin and slows signs of early ageing!I have a Aloe plant at home, use it fresh off the stem..good for sunburn..

Irritates the Skin but Does Moisurise
This product mixes into a paste similar in look and smell to Henna powder. I used it on a scraped shin. When it was on, it started to make the injury sting. I left it until dry and then it is easy to flake the excess off and the rest wipes off with a damp cloth. the scar tissue was definitely less dry and crinkly but the whole thing did look redder. I also tried it on my face and again it started to irritate and made my face sting. When it was removed, my skin was red. However, this soon faded and the skin felt soft and moisturised after. A bit of a mixed bag.
