The second in the post-Danzig era of the band, and the last album to feature Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, Michale Graves, and Dr. Chud, who would all quit the band in 2000 Review: Rocking album top to bottom, good edition (at least the idea was) but somewhat expensive in the end. - Nice edition of this album (mostly in theory) which i think is their best most recent work. Unfortunately desertcart didn't ever get or didnt get enough of these numbered copies so i had to purchase it from another seller within desertcart and they delivered a good service mabey scalping a bit which i never like since if they didn't stock it to sell it for a higher price in the first place i could have got a chance to buy it for the initial price and that is not nice. The album comes with everything in the description (stickers, it's a numbered edition and is printed in high quality very silent vinyl). The mastering is fairly good but sounds a bit basic, like they had a great sounding source and decided against touching it at all almost, sometimes it sounds like it clips a bit, not sure if it's the regular way the distortion should sound, have not compared with the cd version, but most of the instruments sound fairly present and big in sound, perhaps the cymbals take the worst seat but are still audible. The materials are all really good, it does feel somewhat premium, but the sound is just good/alright for the cost, nothing too fancy. I think this album could have done great with at least 3 sides and an etching on the fourth or just evenly distribute the greatest master possible at 4 sides. Would probably recommend the black unnumbered version when it costs at most around 25 bucks, deffinitely this is not worth more than 50 so i wouldnt recommend paying more than that. Review: Must be played loud - i I have been a fan of the Misfits for three decades. In 1997 I work at a concert venue. I did backstage set up security 4 most metal bands of the time. Horror Punk at its finest I'm sure it's another band the whole Danzig or Michael Graves era but boy are they songs you just want to sing along to the show was great can I grab this well I grabbed the one before American Psycho at first and then I grabbed famous monsters boy did they not disappoint. And they themselves very friendly. Doyle crunching that guitar Jerry Only pounding on that bass dr. Chud creating the beat and Michael Graves supplying the greatest lyrics of all horror Punk time and so now I picked this up on vinyl to get to my 18 year old daughter. You won't find anything close to it highly recommended.

Hella good album
I bought pre-owned but the CD itself was in good condition. No scratches on the disc itself came with a booklet with lyrics to all the songs. Listened to it from my Xbox

Not worth 30 bucks, look for another version
The sleeve and inner sleeve is cool. The sound quality is like listening to this on cd inside a garbage can. This version does a disservice to this album. This is the best produced Misfits album ever with all the musicians at their best. Horrible recording.

It is what it is.
The thing I love about the so-called "punk movement" is the eagerness to take sides and use one's personal tastes as a pretense for arrogant superiority, and the Danzig vs. Graves debate is as extreme an example of this as I can think of. What both sides apparently fail to appreciate is that, practically speaking, possession is 9/10 of the law. When Glenn Danzig accepted money for the rights to the Misfits name, all argument over whether or not the new version was the "real Misfits" became moot. All that being said, this album is not for everybody, and I can't fault anyone for not particularly liking it. For those who like their guitars a little crunchier, and their production a little more polished, there's much to enjoy here - well-written melodies and the catchy, sing-along choruses that one would come to expect from these punk pioneers. The lyrics may not be as "dark" (and given the lyrical content of songs like Last Caress and Who Killed Marilyn, I'm okay with that), but if you go into this with an open mind, you just might find yourself enjoying this album.

This is a plastic case cd not a paper case. Well worth the money as this is a great reissue album. However, I never owned the original as could never find a reasonable priced version. There’s fanatic band member illustrations within the slip cover / liner notes that really make this reissue. Be warned that this plastic case has a sticker on the left top corner that is very hard to peel. The paper of the sticker will remove but the adhesive remains! Annoying as hell as the hard plastic case came in perfect condition but has a sticker that won’t peel off. Wouldn’t be so bad if it was a misfits sticker but it’s a sticker of the reissue record label Music on CD. Still, I’m happy I own a CD copy of this amazing album and that it’s a decent hard jewel case and not a shitty paper case.
