Early 2022 - Tasmota and ESPHome compatable
I was able to set my first one up with ESPHome. I even modded in a set of wires so I could hook up a second switch to utilize the 2nd slot in my 2-gang that got reduced to 1 due to the fan and lights moving to this unit. Now my 2nd switch is a switch-in-software in Home Assistant to control my lamp smart plugs. Besides that....I'm not complaining much since this is one of the few remaining devices you can still convert for local use. My only issues have been LED lights do not dim "flicker-free" (yes, I have dimmable LED bulbs) and my fan speeds generally feel slower. Especially anything less than 100%. 75% feels like about 50%, 50 feels like maybe 35%...25% is barely capable of cranking the fan from a dead stop. The switch needs some kind of intelligence to know if you're starting from a dead stop or off that it needs to kick up to 100% before reverting to a lower setting. About to buy a 2nd one...hopefully they haven't changed chips like the treatlife one.

works well but difficult to fit inside an older/smaller box
Amazon sells a few combination wifi fan + light controls that are all very similar (identical?), other than branding. (I chose this one since it was on sale). The top row of buttons are used to increase/decrease the fan speed or light. The middle button operates the fan and the bottom button operates the light. There's also a row of LEDs to indicate the dimmer level or fan speed. There are no screw terminals on the switch; only pigtail wires. This means that all the connections must be made using wire nuts. If you have recent construction, there may be enough room inside the electrical box to install this switch plus all the wires with wire nuts. But if you have an old house like mine, with a small shallow box, it may be difficult to fit both the switch and the wiring in the volume of space available. Note that smart switches are more boxy and deeper than conventional mechanical ones. In my case, it worked out because it was a double gang electrical box (this combo control replaced separate switches for the light and fan), so I could install the new switch on one side and still had room for the wires and wire nuts on the other side. These switches use a Tuya module, so it was simple to discover and set up using the Tuya Smart app on a phone. You can then link your Tuya account with Google Home or Amazon Alexa for voice control. However the integration isn't perfect using Google Home on Android: it shows up as two independent device controls (dimmable light and a separate fan that can be turned on/off). I don't see a way to adjust the fan speed using Google Home, but I can always use the Tuya Smart app for fine grained speed control.Overall it works well, and wasn't too difficult to install (just be aware that it will require more space in the electrical wall box). Minus one star since there are no push-in or screw terminals for wiring on the switch that would conserve space.

Value for money
Would give 4 stars for price and works well with alexa. But have issues when paying the buttons for fan and lights simultaneously, the light stays on even if it shows as closed. But then you have to chick the buttons again to close. But is value for money to not install 2 smart switches.

Requires 2.4 ghz WiFi connection
Beware that the setup of this device requires an extra step if you want to connect it to smart speakers. The dimmer can only connect to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network so I ended up having to change my router settings by splitting the bands into a 2.4 GHz and a 5.0 GHz setting rather than being able to take advantage of the benefits of having a dual band option. I will test over the next few weeks to see how the rest of my Bluetooth devices are impacted by this setting change, but so far the dimmer switch is working fine.In terms of the device being easy to install, I ended up having a professional electrician install it for me just to be on the safe side, but he was able to get it up and running within 20 minutes. Thus, I would say that it's easy for a professional to install, but I wouldn't recommend self installation if you're uncomfortable or inexperienced working with electrical wiring.Buyers should also be aware that dimmable light bulbs may be required in order for your overhead light to work with the dimmer. My regular bulbs are working fine so far, but I will see how long that lasts.

Super convenient - light + fan
Super convenient, especially as it allows control of both lights and fan along with dimmer and fan speed control. App works seamlessly and highly recommend the product.

No Home Assistant Integration without Hacking, Alexa Support Unstable
This device, as well as others by Esmlife and Treatlife run on the Tuya Smartlife platform, which is buggy and unstable in my experience, and the integration to Alexa is equally unstable. I have had to add and re-add these devices to Alexa multiple times and they keep disappearing. I figured maybe I could just use them with Home Assistant for a more robust automation experience, but because they're on Tuya's platform you cannot access them directly, even though they are devices on your local network. You have to connect to Tuya's cloud app to interact with them.If you're comfortable with doing things like running 2-3 extra programs to get around the Cloud app or flash the onboard chip to Tasmota software, then they're perfectly fine, but if you want scalability to multiple home automation platforms without hassles, look elsewhere!

Does the job but I do have a concern.
Purchased this unit to replace what was formerly done by two switches so I could install a GFCI in the second position. Issues I have is first unit was DOA, second unit took some time to get it to link up to the WIFI, and had to use a Bluetooth connection to finish setup. Lastly, I note the lights on the fan flicker when setting is not at 100%. I just hope the switch is more reliable than the GE Zigbee switches this replaced.

Demasiado grande.
Me encanta su funcionamiento, le daría cinco estrellas si no estuviera tan grande: ocupa todo el espacio en el orificio de la pared sin dejar espacio para los cables.

Muy bueno
Buen producto, funciona bien. Lo único malo es que no puedes cambiar la velocidad del ventilador con Alexa
