Attractive, good value, but not 100% functional.
This is a good purchase, worth every penny, as they are solid, attractive with a nice gloss.I have two issues with the design, one of which I knew about - the lack of a flat bottom means you can't easily set the spoon down on a flat surface without it falling on its side. The set this replaced had flat bottoms, and I found I missed that.The other design related issue I had was the depth of the spoon. It's so deep that it's not easy to get all the contents out of the spoon. If neither of these are issues for you, these are the ceramic soup spoons for you, because it was a petty good value.

Long handle soup spoon
The spoon is thick ceramic but light. I am afraid of breaking them when they clink in my ceramic bowl. But I love the length of the spoons because the look elegant and over hang even in a 47 oz bowl. 🙂
