Keeps your items dry but HOT
I bought this to use for paddleboarding to keep my stuff dry and safe, even if for some reason the board was to tip over. I love that it floats as I prefer to store it on my paddleboard under the bungee cords rather than wearing it. And it does float well and keeps items perfectly dry.However, the items were extremely HOT. I live in Florida and a paddleboard doesn't have any shade on it so it was in the direct sunlight. So I knew my items would be pretty hot, but didn't expect the bag to actually heat them up even further. Reaching in, it felt almost like an oven. My phone was too overheated to use and I almost burnt my hand on my car keys when reaching into the bag after about 30-40 minutes. I left the bag open for 10-15 minutes while "docked" at an island and the phone cooled down enough to use but unfortunately, this was a dealbreaker for me. I'll still use it for times when it is cooler or there is a lot of shade, but I will be looking for a better insulated dry bag for my paddleboarding trips.
