Foam is somewhat fragile. You get what you pay for.

Original Boogie Board
This is a quality built board with smooth varnished wooden bottom... as pictured.

Not durable
The foam top layer was fragile and ripped easily and the board itself arrived split between the layers, delaminating. Not a good buy.

It's ok, doesn't seam like it's completely worth the amount of money, but we shall see if it is durable.

Definitely worth the price
Just received this skim board in the mail, and it’s amazing. We tested it out at the beach and it was hours of fun for our 4 boys. I would highly recommend.

The 40 inch skim board
I ordered three for my surf shop when I finally sold one the guy brought it back the next day because it had delaminated I find this to be a problem with Chinese plywood, and quite a few products were a few pennies worth of glue would make it last a little bit longer almost all these plywood skim boards are not laminated well, the process of making plywood involves glue between the layers to make it durable and they hardly use any
