BehringerMS-1 Analog Synthesizer (MS-1-BK)

Der Behringer Odyssey macht schon ziemlich was her. Das Gehäuse wirkt wie ein Panzer und die bunt beleuchteten Regler machen jeden Weihnachtsbaum überflüssig. Die Tastatur geht in Ordnung.Klanglich ist der Barp - äh - Odyssey wirklich sehr gut, sofern man das etwas andere Bedienungskonzept verstanden hat. Klanglich ist er flexibler als ein Minimoog (oder das Model D), dabei aber auch aggressiver. Die schieren Dimensionen des Geräts benötigen entsprechenden Platz im Studio, damit man auch bequem an alle Regler kommt.Der Sequenzer/Arpeggiator, den Behringer mittlerweile in vielen seiner analogen Synthies verbaut ist gewöhnungsbedürftig und man muss sich schon einige Zeit einarbeiten, bis man ihn verstanden hat.Letztendlich ist es mir aber zu umständlich, jeden Sound erst wieder zusammenschrauben zu müssen, bevor ich mich an meinen Song machen kann. Wenn man SOUNDbastler ist, ist das natürlich der Sinn solcher Hardware. Ist man SONGbastler, will man nur möglichst schnell seine Idee umsetzen. Wie beim Behringer Deepmind ist meine Erkenntnis auch hier, dass aktuelle Plugins (CA2600) ebenso gut klingen, weniger Platz brauchen und bequemer zu bedienen sind. Darum ging er auch wieder zurück. Man muss das eben selbst ausprobiert und gehört haben, um sich eine echte Meinung zu bilden.Ein Problem zeigte sich dann auch noch, denn der Line-Ausgang setzte sporadisch aus, sobald der Odyssey per USB mit einem Rechner verbunden war. Hinsichtlich Optik und Verarbeitung ist das aber wohl einer der besten Behringer.

Great little synth, pity it broke in less that a week of really light use. Sounds great but the default keyboard trigger doesnt work without routing now.

I'm really impressed with Behringer products. These things really do a nice job of emulating the originals for a budget price and in many ways are often better. Only one or two complaints but not deal breakers. (A pass through patch for the Mod wheel midi signal would have been very easy to implement and really useful even if the trigger button needed to be sacrificed for it.)Delivery was prompt and the unit was well packaged.

If you’ve never used one it will take a while to get used to, but once you have.. My God this thing is good!I’ve played a Mk2 original and a recent reproduction from another company at twice the cost of this one. The quality, the sound and the feel are all comparable.My only gripe is the octave switch that really does feel low quality and breakable, but this synth plays like a true analogue.Just love it. Didn’t realize how much I missed this till I had it again. It may not be the original but it stands up to the comoarison for audio and has the bonus of midi and USB technology?So pleased I got this. I feel like a kid in a candy store!Awesome!

Tengo varios instrumentos de Behringer y es la primera vez que me pasa que tengo que devolver un producto por qué venga en mal estado, es un problema de fabricación, parece que no pasan controles de calidad ya que el fallo es gordo y con un simple control de funcionamiento hubiesen detectado el problema. Eso sí, la presencia del instrumento impecable.
