I changed the wood color to match the rest of my dark wood furniture as I loved the chair build and feel. I used a simple black wood stain, no prep whatsoever, just painted it on. I plan to add a bit of a topcoat shine…I may paint or stain the button tops as it’s the only part I don’t like much and feel it highlights it is fake leather. I got this chair on special sale $309.Note: I intended to round the front bottom edge of wood as it’s rather sharp to the back of your heels. I noticed though it has a thin wood veneer glued atop some type of thick wood so decided not to file and risk destroying it. Hope it lasts beautifully for many years!

Good build, looks beautiful. The sofa chair is deep so you will need cushions for the back .

This chair is everything I ever wanted! To start, it’s a beautifully soft, faux leather feel. The texture on the back keeps it from looking bland, but isn’t so overwhelming that it becomes hard to match with other decor and furnishings. The seat is very deep! I’m 5ft tall and comfortably curl up in the chair to read a book with my feet tucked under me or in front of me.The chair is also incredibly comfortable. The seat cushion is very soft and has plenty of give when you sit. This chair isn’t small though due to how wide it is. I placed two in my sitting room with an end table between them.I didn’t have any damage or issues with the upholstery either. Set up was very easy, all you have to do is screw on the feet to the bottom.Would absolutely recommend this chair.

Great chair, very disappointed that it came with cracked arm piece. Hopefully Amazon will make it right.

High quality chair. The image doesn’t do it justice and the wood stain matches the leather better than the photo shows.
