If your 1050ti only needs one 6-pin connector and this isn't "working" then it may be coming from a rail that doesn't have enough power or is defective or the 1050ti is. The fan running on the graphics card doesn't necessarily mean it is getting enough power. Try another power rail if it is modular otherwise you may need a stronger power supply. Be sure your bios and monitor settings are correct so you will see video output.
