Manfred Mann - The Sixties

Firstly, let's get the "negatives" out the way ....... 11 CDs in picture sleeve covers plus booklet, plus sturdy box for £58.Eh? Negatives? What negatives??Basically, forget the moaners, this is a quality box set, and is great value at under £6 a disc!I have purchased many different Manfred Mann Boxsets over the years, none as comprehensive as this one, furthermoreTHE SOUND QUALITY HERE IS EXCELLENT !If you like Manfred Mann, buy now, you will not be disappointed.

Great set but I was under the impression that it contained their entire sixties output but there are a number of b sides missing.

This cd set does not contain the entire 60s recordings but it offers their HMV albums in mono as well as theirFontana albums in stereo and mono, sound quality is good but two stars are taken off there are track duplications which was ridiculous for the price they were charging for this set unnecessary since there are a number of tracks were left off like some B sides as well as their 1964 top 20 hit "Hubble Bubble Toil And Trouble" which because it stalled at no 11 they stopped writing songs for A sides of their singles, which is why some of their sixties stuff is underrated today, a shame it could have been the best ever Manfred Mann box set of their sixties output.
