I really enjoyed this puzzle. It was cut well (no pieces needed to be pulled/cut apart), includes a full-size poster, and I love having the letter coding on the back so I can choose to divide it up if I'd like (I did). As others have said, many of the pieces are really close in size but they fit together easily when in the right place, so if a piece is a tight fit, it may not be in the right spot. When I finished the puzzle, I flipped it over to "check my work" and found that I had eight pieces that looked close to the right spot and generally fit in the space, but weren't right (see last image - the letter grid is "off" there). It was a little struggle to get them out because they really didn't fit there, and when I put them in the right spot, they dropped right in - I should have known it wasn't right. Lots of fun, and I hope this company produces more of them.

Unlike most other puzzles with a variety of shapes, this puzzle had pretty much all of the same shape pieces, including some that were virtually identical. There weren't any that had "arrows" in the corners or odd shapes that would help figure out where they go. As a result, much of this puzzle was too difficult for my 90yr old mother to do. And the very dark colors made it additionally difficult. She could only put together the places with obvious patterns/colors. I had a very difficult time doing the upper left corner with the clouds myself, and I had to rearrange some of the identical pieces that ended up in the wrong spots...only noticeable at the end when the colors didn't flow right. If you like a challenge, go for it. But if you want an enjoyable puzzle where everyone can feel successful, maybe choose another one.

JUST GOT IT OUT OF THE BOX. IT COMES IN A VERY STRONG BOX FOR STORAGE. LOOKS LIKE VERY LITTLE PUZZLE DUST. A FULL COLOR VERY LARGE POSTER IS ENCLOSED. PLUS, IF THAT ISN'T ENOUGH, THE PUZZLE COMES WITH LETTERS ON THE BACK FOR HELP WITH SOLVING.THOSE OF US WHO WERE DOING PUZZLES LONG BEFORE THE PANDEMIC KNOW A GOOD DEAL WHEN WE SEE ONE. THIS IS A NEWCOMER TO THE PUZZLE WORLD FROM WHAT I CAN TELL. I WOULD DEFINITELY BUY MORE PUZZLES FROM THIS COMPANY.UPDATE: WOW, I WAS RIGHT. THIS IS A WONDERFUL PUZZLE. HAS ALL THE CHALLENGES A SEASONED PUZZLER WANTS. A DARK TRAIN, A WORLD MAP WITH DIFFERENT COLORS, A RAILROAD DEPOT WITH LOTS GOING ON AND SEAPORT WITH MORE GOING ON.THE SKY IS A CHALLENGE. LOTS OF COLOR SHADING.WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THIS PUZZLE.

This was the most challenging and most difficult puzzle I've ever solved. Mostly it was due to the manufacture's method of cutting/stamping/pressing the pieces apart. Last layer of paper wasn't cut all the way through on numerous pieces and at first, tried just tearing them apart, but that wasn't satisfactory, so then got out my X-ACTO knife (see left side of photo by lamp) to make it easier. This was first 1000 piece puzzle that I've worked and being able to separate the alphabetized sections was really appreciated! Contacted Amazon to return puzzle and was told credit would be given to my account and to do whatever I wanted, throw away, giveaway, or solve. Already been said in the beginning but will say again, the most challenging puzzle ever!

The picture of this puzzle caught my eye and at such a reasonable price, I bought it. The title on the box was "20th Century USA" but the print is actually called "20th Century Transportation". The pieces were standard cut, some weren't cut all the way through, some pieces were cut all the way through but ripped the back of the pieces. The pieces went together easily but were harder to take apart. This puzzle comes with a full-size color poster, which I thought was great. I used that and the letter codes on the back of the pieces to solve the puzzle, making this seem like nine smaller puzzles. It took me about ten days to solve and looks great now that it is finished.

I was quite disappointed in this puzzle. I loved the design. The positive thing I can say, is it came with a large poster image of the puzzle, which helps w/assembly. The puzzle quality is sub-par. Many of the pieces are similar shapes and fit in multiple places, making it extremely difficult to find the proper placement on the backdrop/sky portion of the puzzle. The image contents and earth portions were easy enough, because you could line up the image bits. That was not the case with the sky. I got quite frustrated trying 1 pc in multiple possibilities, and it fit in every single one.. but not "perfectly". Even the correct pieces assembled, would separate and fall apart slat the slightest movement.

Overall it wasn’t the worst puzzle ever. There were some issue with pieces stuck together when I opened it. Carefully taking them apart there were some pieces that were damaged. The fit of pieces was not great. This really effected the areas of the puzzle that were similar in color. One piece fit in 3 places. That kind of thing. Letters on the back were slanted which also made it more difficult to orient the pieces. The thickness of the pieces was ok. Just had to be careful with them peeling a bit at times. If you get a deal on it and really like the image, I’d says it’s worth it. Just a few things to be aware of.

This donut puzzle says it's for Ages 14+, but I think it's easier than many other puzzles that say 12+. I think a smart 10-year-old would enjoy this -- as well as adults! My husband and I (in our 60's) are having a lot of fun working on this in our spare time. The wild and crisp colors make it really fun to do.The box came caved in on the side, so I'm not too happy about that - it makes it tough to get the cover on and off the box and I can't gift it as I had planned -- which is why I'm doing it myself now. However, the puzzle is high-quality with hardly any of that "puzzle dust." I will order from this company again -- IF the box comes without damage next time!
