1999-2008 D Complete UNC State Quarter 50 Coins Set

I purchased this item as gift for my Dad. When they arrived, I was so disappointed. I am not an expert of coin collection but I can tell they are not mint coins as described. There were a few completely discolored and many more with brownish tone as if someone touched them with fat fingers. After I contacted the seller, I was able to exchange with a different set. However, I had to pay the shipping cost. The seller only promised to reimburse the basic first-class postage. The second package was better. I thought it was good enough as the intended gift. However, I had to contact seller several times to get the promised the shipping cost back. If I had to do it again, I would contact the seller first to make sure what you get is what is described and get written promise that the seller is responsible for exchange cost. As other reviewers mentioned, we get what we pay for.

Please check you junk mail!! I did not. I had a problem with the delivery which brought me a damaged package. I immediately sent a message and they answered immediately. I did not realize that so contacted Amazon who sent me a copy of their reply. I tend to be very critical in examining the merchandise I buy, Cellar etc did an outstanding job in sending the coins that had been lost in the mail, explained how to take care of a couple of coins that had a yellowish shine and offered to replace them. You cannot ask for more kind and professional assistance. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.LilyanBOTH AMAZON AND THE SELLER WERE OUTSTANDING!

Received faster than I thought it would be and although lacking the six territorial coins, this is an outstanding item to purchase if you want to get a complete set quickly and at a fair price. Only four quarters were not very good looking, but given the price and obtaining the entire selection my complaint is small. I have purchased four to six of these sets and these are not as shiny as some previous sets, but overall very good quality and probably will get a couple more sets from this company. They are easy to work with and resolve any issues rapidly and work hard (my opinion) to make you happy. Thanks!!!

The coins received (1999-2008)state quarters with "D" mint were very nice uncirculated coins. What I like most about this company (Abon Enterprises)was I had to inform them that I would be going on vacation for a month, and I wanted to know if the coins would be received before I departed. The company responded they would be shipped the next day. I placed my order on 11/25/2009 and was thrilled they arrived on Monday 11/30/09 and everything was in order and the coins were very nice. All 50 coins arrived in good time and each coin was in at least good condition. They look great in the state quarter's map that I purchased from Amazon.I would recommend these quarters for those who are interested in obtaining all 50 state quarters in at least good condition and who desire to simply display them in a state map as I have done.Regards,John

This review is about the item Sold by Cellar_Door_Books and Fulfilled by Amazon.The coins arrived in two coin safe storage tubes. These type of coin tubes are NOT air tight and should not be used to store anything but circulated coins. The web page description "Shipped in Sealed Quarter Tubes". One of the images shows a coin tube with a security seal. Neither coin tube had a security seal which would have kept the air out. One tube was stuffed with ordinary peanut foam to fill the unused portion of the tube. This type of foam is NOT safe for coins and should NEVER be used for coin storage and especially not be allowed to touch the coins. I put on some cotton gloves and examined a few of the coins. They are tarnished and yellowed which pretty much makes them worthless except for their 0.25 cent face value. The coins in the second tube were allowed to bang together during shipment. Extremely disappointed and I feel ripped off.
