SAMSUNG EVO Select 128GB microSDXC UHS-I U3 100MB/s Full HD & 4K UHD Memory Card with SD Adapter (MB-ME128HA/EU) - Amazon Exclusive

Good quality

Reviewing the 128GB version of this card. There are a number of bad reviews here, so it's possible that some cards are fake, or perhaps people are basing the speed on a slow SD card reader. However, I have just fully tested this card using the native SD card slot on my iMac (via the included SD card adaptor). Whilst I didn't quite get the quoted speeds, they were very impressive and close enough to confirm that the card is genuine and is exactly as advertised. Quoted speeds for this card: 100MB/s read and 50MB/s write My tests using f3 on OSX: Writing --- Average writing speed: 47.72 MB/s Reading --- Data OK: 119.33 GB (250259966 sectors) Data LOST: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors) Corrupted: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors) Slightly changed: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors) Overwritten: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors) Average reading speed: 88.96 MB/s The card is performing above U3 standards of 30MB/s. Some other reviewers are also marking the card down due to the formatted capacity being less than advertised. This is not a fault, it is down to the fact that different partition types have an overhead that uses capacity. For an example, simply search "exfat overhead" for thousands of explanations of how computers store data. Overall, this is a great card (so far anyway), and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

Funktioniert zuverlässig in meiner GoPro seit Langem. Jederzeit ein Kauf wert.

Thanks to Amazon obvious pricing mistake, got this ultra cheap. Regret not buying many. Thought its gonna be inferior or knock off, but turns out legit. So. Ultra fast. Writes constant up to like 68MBs. Reads 88MBs. On ALL drive. Important. As lot of cards have 1-10% BEGINNING of drive, where people do their funny tiny tests, ultra fast/buffered, and then drops to ultra slow. Same aplies to SSD and NVME, and notably to USB pen drives notoriously badly. As example in my new fast laptop, which I paid a lot extra to have SSD, big mistake. Writes 60MBs, reads mere 350MBs. Means, I paid lots more for ridiculous less. (Full speed on my new SSD installed). This one is, as expected from this brand - consistent both read and write on WHOLE drive. Also. Seems to handle multiple file writes better than regular card, likely in line with reqs from phones to handle heavy load of small files. Heats up reasonably nice, can handle it after full load heat, no probs. Important, as Sandisk Extreme Pro is untouchable - so hot. Dont want to find out what that would do to my (expensive) phone and tablet. Probably top purchase ever from Amazon. But again. Due to their pricing error. Exploited immediately and not by regular customers, as all their stock has been wiped out in a day.

Very good
