A Collection of Simple Verse and Pictures: by David Armstrong Paperback – 30 Nov. 2020

I saw a post about this local author and his book of poems and paintings so ordered a copy out of curiosity. Was delighted with it, very simple and thoughtful poems written on various subjects and beautiful paintings, some local, others from his travels. I'm keeping it on the coffee table for all our visitors to enjoy. 'Little Sheep' is my favourite! Really reasonably priced and delivered very quickly after ordering.

A deeply moving collection of poems and folk art. There is a stark honesty in the words that you feel an instant connection with. The paintings are so diverse and capture the authors feelings and view of the world at that moment in time. It feels very real, inspirational and is actually filled with very sage poetical advice from a lifetime of experiences. Would certainly recommend!
