We tried to find a working toy like this in NYC gift stores but all were shopworn and trashed. This train has a cute announcement which my kids love

Came only wrapped in plastic
Really cool train, but I expected it to come in a box or something more protective. Keep this in mind if buying as a gift.

My son loves it
I read some comments about battery problem. But when my son took to the beach and some kids played it in the water for a little by accident and still working ! Very surprised. I think it’s good enough for fun

A gift for my grandson’s graduation as he get to hold in his hand a replica of the train his father use to ride when he was a kid.

Honestly the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it's more expensive on Amazon then the transit store and it came with scratches on it so it looked used or old
