Design flaw? Structural inconvenients?
I have a problem with the cap structure, it doesn't have any support under the two front sextants, and it was shipped in a flat envelope, so still a couple of weeks after owning it, I cannot get the cap to show or keep the slightest kind of form in the front, and when I attach a patch, it looks even more awkward. I have owned some Condor contractor caps and they hold the front form much better that this TRU-SPEC; this is my first TRU-SPEC cap and having had several boonies from these manufacturer, I was expecting a great product; I am a little disappointed, still love the A-TACS iX camo pattern and will continue to purchase a complete uniform but the way the cap looks is not to my liking. Material and workmanship on the product are great, I believe the issue is the actual design. And if you are wondering, I am not in the military, not contractor, not a LEO, I just have fun playing airsoft, so I really don't know if contractor caps are supposed to be "sticking to the contours of your skull" or if they can in fact have some kind of form.

Fits weird. not as described.
I have a lot of truspec stuff and its usually good stuff. This hat is terrible though. I own hats by OR, Condor, UA, and lots of others that I use in various outdoor activities. This one fits terribly. Its like the top is bigger than the brim or something so it never fills out properly and always looks funny. I'm not sure how else to explain it. I will have to return it for something else. Which is a bummer since I love the attics iX pattern and they can be harder to find. I don't think its the same hat as pictures--its more like a slouch hat with stiff material.
