They are perfectly acceptable 28mm miniatures. There are some variations with the figures' heads so they are not identical which is nice. With 40 miniatures in the box they are comparatively affordable. The service was good, and they arrived promptly.

These miniatures were well designed and created. The only drawback was that my husband wished they would have come with stands for them.

Not sure about this one. My 10 year old is crazy about hoplites, Ancient Greece,and is learning so much about ancient technologies of war. He makes different kinds of weapons and shields using cardboards, and he’s really good at it. I thought this would make a perfect Christmas gift for him.He was in fact very excited to received this, and started working on it right away. They’re tiny and difficult to put together. They’re some sort of flimsy plastic and to be honest quite useless.

Nella scatola si trovano 42 miniature in plastica di qualità media (ma anche medio-alta) di opliti greci di buona fattura scultorea, con discrete combinazioni che -per chi ha pazienza- vi fanno costruire 42 miniature diverse tra loro (tra cui uno stratega e un musico). Il costo è abbastanza in linea con quanto proposto dal mercato (da UK si compra a cifre più basse ma con Brexit occorre pagare diritti doganali che vi azzerano il risparmio). La postura degli opliti è un po' limitata (o lancia sopra la testa o lancia in posizione di attesa) ma un modellista elabora i suoi pezzi tranquillamente; inoltre c'è un discreto numero di spade con cui sostituire la lancia. Ottima scelta del produttore è quella di dotare la scatola di transfers da applicare sugli scudi delle miniature, scudi che, seppur limitati quanto a colori (o nero o bianco) sono stupende citazioni di quei disegni delle anfore che vediamo in ogni museo di archeologia ... Prodotto che consiglio a modellisti e/o a chi fa gioco tridimensionale ambientato in età classica
